Logitech MX1100 LASER Mouse Logo
Posted on Sep 25, 2010

My Logitech MX 1100 just stopped working out of the blue. The red battery light on top is blinking, so even though I've only been using this for a couple weeks (and the batteries were fairly fresh) I changed them for brand new ones. No change, light is still blinking. I picked 2 more batteries and tried those - same thing. I've had to use a backup mouse to find this site - is there any fix for this problem or is my mouse fried?

I had the same problem, brand new battery, the indicator light still blinking red. I finally got mad enough to shake the mouse kinda hard, and it worked. I then removed and replaced the old batteries in, it started blinking red again, but it worked after I gave it a couple of hard side by side shake. I do notice that there's something moving inside the mouse. It could be a connector that got loose. Hope this fixes your problem
