Deleted Pics I think I may have accidentally deleted my pics when I pressed the format button on my Casio ExiLim Digital. When I tried to view the pics, the message says no files; I do have a 1gb memory card in the camera. I sent this message earlier but, in my excitement that a solution was sent so swiftly, I clicked on the accept instead of the reply and failed to get the final solution from the Guru that tried to help me. What a klutz, I am. HELP

First of all, do not save any new file to camera's memory card.

Take out memory card, and connect it to computer using a card reader. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in Windows Explorer.
Download this photo recovery software
http://www.asoftech.com/apr/
Install and open the photo recovery software, select the memory card, and click 'Start' button.

You pressed "format" on your camera. That meant that you formatted the memory card of your camera. All your pictures are saved on the memory card of your Canon digital camera automatically. You can recover them with photo recovery software. But once the pictures were overwritten by new data, they are gone for good.

I had recovered photos and videos from formatted SD card on my camera with a program called Tenorshare Photo Recovery for Mac and it worked.Anyway, you can download it (Photo Recovery for Windows version is available, too, as I remember) and scan your memory card for free to preview whether your files can be recovered.By the way,it will show you the file name, type, date and size of your files and thumbnails for your pictures that it found on your card.Give it a shot!

Here is a step by step tutorial to guide you recover photos from formatted memory card.

OK! You are still possible restore all your deleted photos back from this camera as long as they are all not overwritten by anything new on the same camera.
In fact, after the deleting or formatting process, the deleted photos on a camera memory card are not actually erased as we generally think. They are still there and only become invisible and inaccessible. But, they cannot be there forever. Any new file on the same camera memory card would rewrite them and make them gone permanently. So, you should take care.
And then plunge this camera to your computer and download a camera photo recovery freeware to restore all your deleted photos back for free:
http://blog4mark.blogspot.com/2012/12/photo-recovery-after-delete.html
I believe this data recovery freeware can work perfectly on your camera memory card just in the same way as it completely retrieves all the deleted data of my friend off from his phone memory card. Just give it a shot! Note: Never forget to back up everything important at least on two memory cards or locations in the future.
Good luck!

How do i unlock the card on my exilim.casio camera

Remove the card and see if the pictures remain on the camera. If they do, then they are stored in camera memory. Make sure the memory lock on the card is in the proper position. Put the card back into your computer and delete the pictures. Then format the card, and try the card again. If the card is still locked, try a different memory card that has been formatted.

Use a separate card reader to download them to a folder you create on your desktop. Then, format the card in the camera.

Memory full

Is this on the card, or internal memory?
If it is the card, then reformat it. That should solve the problem.

If your buttons get stuck then you have to send it in to get fixed. Your camera isn't going to be any good if the button gets stuck in and won't come out because at some point it won't allow you to take pics.

Format Memory Card

No problem. Your formatted pics are still there until you take more pics and overwrite them. Just remember not to take any more pics on that card just yet.
It's no problem at all to get them back. As an example, try the below linked freeware program. It's tiny to download (a little over 1meg), and very easy to use. You'll have your pics back in ten minutes after reading this:

more than likely you will have to send it in. I don't think there is anything that you can do to fix that at home. If the pics still come out ok you can live with it. If pics get blurry then you will have to send it in.
