All you can do is turn the power off at the power point, leave it for a few minutes and then switch the power back on.

Flashing green light is reset by pressing two buttons in sequence 3-4 times, to reset your dishwasher press these buttons in sequence:

High temp wash-heated dry-high temp wash-heated dry

Open the door. Within 3 seconds press the following sequence --Try pressing normal wash, heated dry, normal wash, heated dry, normal wash, heated dry three times within 6 seconds and then press cancel to reset the dishwasher. If that doesn't help then try pressing Saini Rinse, Heated Dry, Saini Rinse, Heated Dry, Saini Rinse, Heated Dry or Saini Rinse, Air Dry, Saini Rinse, Air Dry, Saini Rinse, Air Dry 3 times in 6 seconds and then the Cancel Button. Close the door and press Cancel.
Blinking lights would stop and should be able to use your dishwasher normally. If the light is still blinking try and reset the power to the dishwasher and try again. If still the light is blinking then check for the connections on the keypad, it may be due to moisture or shorted connections on keypad.

Please check if the clean light is blinking 7 times. If yes then please reset the power to the dishwasher. After, 5 minutes check if you are still getting the same error. If yes, then it is a water heating fault. To resolve this error try pressing this reset sequence-- Heat Dry - Normal - Heat Dry - Normal or High Temp - Air Dry - High Temp - Air Dry.

If this doesn’t work then its an issue with the heater circuit, door switch, wash pump not pumping the water past the heater efficiently or due to lack of water to heat. Please make sure that heater is not open circuited and is heating the water efficiently. If heater is fine then make sure water pressure is optimum and fill valve is working fine.

The computer needs to be reset. you may need to check the tech sheet that should have come with the dishwasher ( usually behind the toe panel) for directions on reseting it. If you cannot find the reset directions, let me know, I will have to look it up. thank you.

I went to the Maytag site looking for a manual. None existed for my model, but I looked up won't start under the FAQs. The advice said to push the cancel button twice. My model doesn't have one, so I just started at the left side of the control panel and pushed each button twice. pushing the dry button twice made the lights stop blinking. i pushed the wash button and the unit started.

press (high temp-wash) button and then ( heated dry)
do that 3 times in that order within 5 seconds. So it looks like this:

(high temp-wash) ( heated dry) (high temp-wash) ( heated dry) (high temp-wash) ( heated dry)

That will start a short diagnostic cycle (last about 2 minutes) that will clear the blinking light and allow you to use the dishwasher. If the light comes back, your drying cycle has failed and you will need service.

Is the top arm spinning freely?

Puppa, clear the fault by pressing the keys in this order: high temp scrb--air dry--high temp scrub--air dry. Or, depending on your model..Sani rinse--air dry--sani rinse--air dry. The dishwasher will enter the service mode. Let it do it's thing or advance it through it by pressing the start key. The fault came from the board not sensing a rise in the water temp. Make sure to run the hot water before starting the dishwasher. The heating element runs through the nuetral side of the door switch so make sure the d/w is level and the door switches are all making. close the door and to cancel that just press hi temp and hetaer dry again hi temp and heater dry and all the lights is gonna light up, it getting into test mode.
After that press cancel
Now get somebody to replace the thermistor of your machine
