SOURCE: x75 windows vista compatable drivers

Not really, If you like vista and dont want poxy xp back, then from vista install using Microsoft Virtual machine Windows XP, thiscanrun from within a window like any other app, just intall the bare stuff, and install theprogram you use to print from, and then install your printer, easy.

But ultimatley the 3rd party vendors do need to keep upwith the times, most other makes of printer will working without downloading any other driver, but Lexmark make there money on inks not printers, so they dont really care at the end of the day.

Just install VM ware or similar, install XP and printer, and your sorted.

SOURCE: how to install my lexmark x75 to windows 7

Unfortunately, this all-in-one printer is not supported by Lexmark under Win7. As a printer only, it should work with Win7 (according to the Win7 Compatability Center) as a plug-and-play printer using the Win7 built-in drivers. However, you probably will lose the scan functions. Connect the USB cable and see what happens.

If you need the all-in-one to function completely, there is an option with Win7 Pro or Ultimate (if your computer supports virtualization). Download and install the two programs that create the XP mode from Microsoft. Install the program using the XP software/driver from Lexmark (long URL).

You may need to save files to external media to share them between the two "computers".

I hope this helps.

Unfortunately, the printer is not compatible with Windows Vista and Windows 7. There are no printer drivers compatible with these operating systems. For Windows operating system, the printer is only compatible with Windows 98, XP, ME and 2000. Hope I can assist you more on this.

LEXMARK X75 PRINTRIO I NEED A 64 BIT DRIVER FOR WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMUIM OR A SUITABLE SUB.

asically, there is no and won't be any Windows 7 driver for Lexmark X75. It is a common practice for a lot of vendors to phase out support for older models after some period has been passed.

However, you might want to try installing the device under compatibility mode.

    Here's how:
    1. If you don't have an XP driver for your X75, download it from Lexmark's website:
    http://support.lexmark.com/index?page=content&productCode=LEXMARK_X75&actp=RECOMMEND&id=DR1216&segment=DOWNLOAD&userlocale=EN_US&oslocale=en_US&locale=en
    2. Right click on the executable file and select Properties
    3. Click the compatibility tab, check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for" box, and select Windows XP from the drop down menu, and click OK
    4. Right click on the executable again, and choose Run as administrator

Please note that compatibility mode is by no way perfect. There will be loss of functionalities sometimes (i.e. the all-in-one feature). Moreover, the old driver might not work with the new 64-bit system.

(BTW, the usual answer from Lexmark's support team for these kinds of question is to trade your printer for a newer model. If this is an option for you, I suggest you do this instead as it will save yourself from a lot of troubles in the future.)

Neither the Lexmark X74 or Lexmark X75 is supported for Windows 7. See the Windows 7 Information posted on the Lexmark site under Top Articles here.

Sorry this will not help resolve your issue but you will not be able to make these printers function under Windows 7.

I am assuming you have Windows 7 with your new laptop? Windows 7 should have the native driver for it. Have you tried plugging the printer into your laptop?

I have windows xp x64 and can't find compatible drivers for my x75 all in one

    > can't find compatible drivers for my [Lexmark X75]

    Neither can I.

    I accessed the manufacturer's web-site: http://support.lexmark.com
and entered 'X75', and clicked 'downloads',
and found drivers for Mac OS and for Windows 98/2000/XP, but none _explicitly_ for Windows XP 64-bit.

So, either Windows XP 64-bit "natively" supports the printer, or Lexmark does *NOT* support this "legacy" printer in newer Operating Systems (64-bit, Vista, Windows 7).

I need lexmark X75 printer driver for window 7.

If your printer is not listed on Lexmark's web-site:

    http://support.lexmark.com/index?page=content&id=OS3&locale=EN&userlocale=EN_CA

    then either:

    * the device-driver is included in Windows 7;
    * Lexmark does not supply a device-driver for Windows 7.
