I just bought a pagepro 1350w printer. i have installed the driver, but it won't print anything. i keep getting 'failed to print' error message. when i open the status display of the printer, it says that "printer power off/communication error/printer mismatch", but i've already connect the printer properly.

A 'print spooler' is a range of memory either internal to the printer (sometimes called 'buffer memory') or set aside from the RAM in your system.
A fatal error normally means the material you tried to print has been lost and must be sent to the printer again.
If the error continues to show up, you may have bad printer memory or perhaps the driver software in your system has gotten stepped on by the operating system and needs to be reinstalled.
Windows loves trashing files to keep life exciting.
This problem is not related to the drum or toner cartridge.
Go to printer faxes check and it might change the default setting and it might default Microsoft Office Document Image Writer. When you print make sure that you are printing to a right printer you can select the printer of your choice by clicking the down arrow. If you select the right printer and it did not print I suggest that uninstall the print driver to the control panel, add or remove and install a new printer driver. make sure set as a default.
The driver for the PagePro 1350W does not come with the initial installation of Windows Vista. However when you run Windows Update you will find a updated driver for this printer - just download it and let Windows install the driver. I had the same problem with this printer when I installed Vista - I'm now using Windows 7 and it automatically installed the proper driver for the Konica Minolta PagePro 1350W.
Just keep at it - it should work fine after you install the updated driver.
Go to control panel, printers, right click the pagepro and select properties. Click the ports tab and make sure that the port is set to a USB port. This did it for me.
the problem it might not be the printer. I encounter this problem before. the solution is uninstall the print driver to the control panel and re install the print driver using the cd print drive or you can download to konicaminolta web site..
