I have a GE APH10AAG1 portable ac that has no control panel function. It does turn on and blow cold when pluged in. It does have some LED's that light up (dry, low fan and the display). But none of the switches/modes function. Any help would be appreciated.....

SOURCE: I have a GE APH10AAG1

For the control of the AC there is PCB board. However since you have the AC working fine when plug it on then you need to replace the Support panel PCB and according the condition of the buttons you may need to replace also the Power control assembly which is the one with the buttons on. This usually some buttons stuck by long time of use and in combination of dust and humidity they malfunction.

We have a link for you to help you understand the parts layout of your model and the part you need to replace can be order also online to same page

My GE Portable AC (Model: ape07ahm1) blows cold air and then after about 15 minutes seems to blow warm air. If I turn it off, let it sit, and start it up, it blows cold again.

First make sure all a/c vents are clear from obstructions like curtains, etc. Also check exterior vents/hose of any debri. If all venting is clear, does the room eventually cool down? If not than component diagnosis may be necessary.

Why does my portable ac not shut off when it reaches temp

It may just be running the fan and thermostat shut off cold until needed. Mine constantly blows unless I physically turn off.
hope that helps

Ac repair portable 12000 btu unit will not blow cold air

Maybe you have it set on dehumidifier mode instead of air conditioning mode. That happened to me with mine too. And turn off your timer (if it has one) or it will shut off after a while and you will forget why.

My ge ac model APE07AHM1 is not blowing cold air. What could be the problem?

This is an old question, but I am having the same problem with APE07AHM1 that I bought second hand. I'd like to recharge it.

The answer by binev_78 seems to be for outdoor AC compressor units but this is a portable stand alone unit, no outdoor unit.

Ac blows hot air ac compressor is ice cold but the vents blow hot air when enige is hot. bloows cold air when engine is cold

check your air diverter doors, sounds like the door for heat is open, when a/c is selected the doors should move and close the heater off. the heater will over power the a/c. the door controller is located on the environmental station under the dash neat to the floor. the control is electronic and probably not functioning

Have you tried emptying the condensate? I think there's an indicator when that needs to be done.
