I have a problem with the base it is bleeking in and off and I can't get a dail tone and it don't ring it'not the batterys there new. I don't know what's wrong with it .I can go to the menu list it take but nothing happens I go to select base, then base one and best base comes up I push base one or best baseone and it just go to a bleeking base what do I do? Sounds like its either going offline maybe checking the outlet and the cord that plugs into the base. It may also be the battery needs replacing,it has been run down and charged again too many times.it may hold enough for a dial tone but not enuff to even ring,just beep I stead

It sounds to me like your handset and base unit are not communicating.
It is important to know which model phone you have so I can give you the correct information to fix this problem.

Is there dial tone at the base unit? You likely will need to replace the battery ...

When it rings can you actually pick it up and talk to the person on the other line? If not then either the phone is bad or you have a wiring/jack problem. When you open up a phone jack you'll see two wires; one provides the ring, and the other gives you dial tone. Make sure both have good connectivity.

First make sure the phone jack is working by plugging a working phone into it.

if it is working, use the same phone cable to plug into the base of your new unit.

if you do not get dail tone, place the handset into the main charging base. this should sync the phone up to the base. lift it out and try again.

if you still do not get dail tone or see searching, open the phone and remove the battery. wait 30s or so, plug the battery back in and set the phone in the main charger again. wait 10second and try the phone again.

This normally happens when the exchange junction box nearby has some problem... do call the line man to clear the problem

I own one to. I had the same problem. When I dailed a number it wouldnt dail until I got almost to the base. I was running a wireless router for my laptops the signal was interfering with my cordless phones.
