I have a Westinghouse frost free fridge with freezer on top.(RJ340M) Freezer part is working great but the fridge is not performing well at all. Thermostat was my first thought but wouldn't that be affecting the freezer too? I have adjusted both the cold air control and the temp dials accordingly and still no luck. Any thoughts?

My Westinghouse Frost Free fridge is not working. The freezer is working. It is has the freezer on top of the fridge, separate doors

Even though it is frost free, try defrosting it by turning it off with the doors open for a few hours. There may be ice or something else blocking the vent between the freezer and refrigerator sections. Of course you will need to remove everything from the fridg and freezer and store it somewhere else that is cold.

Items in freezer are gathering significant front, when the freezer should be frost free

A frost free freezer typically relies on a "fan" to vent that area of moisture. So, if the fan/vent is not working properly, the moisture in the freezer stays and become frost. Frost can also form if / when the freezer door is not closing properly / completely ... allowing air / moisture to enter the fridge/freezer . Have those checked out first.

Westinghouse Fridge/freezer RJ340M. Not freezing cold.

Could be several problems, it may have a leak in the coolant system, the compressor may be bad, or the control system may be malfunctioning.

The freezer works well but the fridge is not cooling.

Classic symptom of: the connection passageway between the freezer and the fridge compartment
has closed off - usually due to ice buildup - or something clogging/blocking the passageway.
Your Refrigerator works by releasing cold air into only the freezer, then this cold air passes thru
a passageway into the fridge compartment to cold (but not freeze) the fridge compartment contents.
If this passageway is blocked, then just the freezer works, and cold air never makes it into the
fridge compartment. In the old days, you'd be told to defrost your freezer, since the blockage
was ALWAYS caused by frost buildup. Today, we have frost-free freezers, and your freezer may
simply have too much stuff inside - there has to be some room to allow some air flow around
items in the freezer, and whichever item is blocking the air passage to the fridge compartment -
just move it away from the passageway opening.

Freezer freezing up in the bottom vents, the fridge is not cold enough. the freezer works great. there is no drainage in the drain pan in the bottom. it is a frost free refrigerator.

The heater for the frost-free isn't functioning. Have a technician check the circuitry on the heater for breaks, or even a defective heater!

Frost Free, freezer ok but fridge warm

If all else fails I would completely defrosted the unit.If there is any blockage this will open up all the tubes.Unplug it open the doors put pans of hot water in the freezer to speed up the process.
Make sure your fan is still working ,its located behind the freezers back wall. If it is working the vent from the freezer down to the refridgerater may be blocked. With out a fan you have no circulation but your freezer may look likes its working,it may last 3 days. Also if you can move everything out unplug it turn it off w/ doors open 12 to 24 hrs this will free up any clogged tubes. Good luck.
