This will reset the pda into the original state, so you will loose all files and programs in memory, files in a storage card wont be effected.

Just hold down the calendar and today buttons, these are the two outer buttons on the lower left and lower right, then using a stylus press and hold for at least ten seconds the soft reset button this is located on the lower right edge of the unit. The screen should reset and the iPAQ will boot up again.

What do I do if the batteries die and the Barska Large Biometric Safe is locked?

The safe comes with 2 extra keys you can use if the battery fails. Also, if you cannot find the keys, there is an included battery backup box which you can connect to the Biometric Lock and used to open the safe. Does this BARSKA Mini Biometric Safe use solenoids or motors for the locking device?

Not sure, but It makes no difference as it recognizes my fingerprint only about 20% of the time. This unreliable flaw renders it simply unsafe in an emergency, so I have defaulted to using a key. Should have returned it. My bad. To know more details about this BARSKA Mini Biometric Safe Check out here: BARSKA Mini Biometric Safe Review

Are biometric gun safes reliable? and which are the best biometric gun safe now in market ?

The maturity of the technology isn't where it must be yet. An economy biometric locks don't seem to be secure or reliable, and therefore, the reliable ones are expensive. The payback in terms of convenience is low. Getting into a biometric lock takes about as long as competing types which are more reliable and safer . Here some best biometric gun safes and you'll get a more information which is incredibly helpful.

My bioaxxis bd1 finger print deadbolt lock had to have the batteries changed. I removed the batteries and left the batteries out for a day. Once I installed the batteries, the lock would not work. I get an...

Here is the link to the website for the manufacturer, Axxis Biometrics:

http://www.axxisbiometrics.com/products/locks/deadbolt-fingerprint/bioaxxis-bd1/

I want you to have that because if all else fails, you'll have the contact information for further assistance.

Here is the direct link to the installation and programming instructions, which includes the beep codes. You likely lost the programming when you left the batteries out for such a long period:

http://www.axxisbiometrics.com/images/upload/File/pdfs/BD1_Complete_User_Manual.pdf

Notice that the above is a .pdf filetype. That means that you need to have Adobe Reader or similar installed on your computer to view it. So if you are unable to view the file, download (for free) and install Adobe Reader first. You can get it here:

Hope this helps. Good luck!
