The lenses screw out, the electronics are in the body and this involves removing all the screws, including the ones behing the rubber casing. Why do you wish to strip them out?

Check the HV to the tube and see if you can see any discolouration or spots on the tube - they often indicate tube failure. Many binoculars use the one power supply for both tubes as the current demand is very low. Often, one tube operation indicates tube failure, but a wire or connection could be at fault.

I'm pretty sure that your unit uses the 3V cr123 Lithium battery. You can get it at RadioShack. You can always take it down to radioshack and pretty quick you will find the correct batt.for the unit. Do not use rechargeable batts!

Where can i find a BAIGISH Sakura 10-70X50mm Night Vision Binoculars Scope user guide/manual online?

Dino Direct carries them and has a pretty good description for them but is not complete. If they opearte in the manner I think they do, hold down on the lever to power them- do not pump, just press and hold. Since there is no mention of a battery or cell, this is the usual alternate method to power them.

Otherwise the online information that is most complete is http://www.dinodirect.com/sakura-scope-10-70x50mm-binoculars-night-vision.html

I have a Oldelft PD4D night vision binocular. I have no idea what it is nor the worth. They are OD green in color. I was under the impression that they are Russian optics? Can you help. Thanks, Mike

Hello, this information will cost you the United States Debt!!! OK, it free. Oldelft a company in Belgium the used or still is making very fine dinner ware and other porcelain vases. Backing the early eighty's to about the end of the 80"s. Oldelft started manufacture NV devises and they also made scopes, monoculars, and binoculars that had some excellent quality to them--Extremely excellent quality. European Corporation bought the rights from Oldlft NV and try manufacture NV devises in Europe. Around this time most countries in Europe were manufacturing their own NV devise. The Night Vision Corp. sold to Phototonics in Calif; in which they manufacture NV devises and their parts and other things.

Because they are OD green they were used by the Military of Europe and many Arab countries who circumvented the International embargo on such items. To be a "Capitalist....is to supply there demand when it's needed" A little secret here: Embargo against countries don't work... It will never work. To be a capitalist is also to be greedy.

Greedy supplies the world for those who don't have it, and those who will manufactured it. I would say a majority of the Arab Countries have Oldelft NV devise in the eighties and nineties. Now, they make their own. There is probably 75 countries in the world that manufacture NV devises or parts for them.

Finally, There are not Russian Optics. Their quality is to good to be Russian. Does this Oldlft binocular have wording on the side saying: "Three Cascade" If it does send me a message I will tell you what it mean. What are they worth? It would be hard to say...such as, what shape are they in, lens quality-scrached, broken, does it operate, what is the quality of night viewing capabilities. etc. Now, if they are good shape and it works. Also, it rare here in the US because I don't think they were ever sold here, just in Europe and other places. approx. $200 to $300; of course the price could be higher and probably would be. stewbison

Put new batteries in power does not come on.

Hello, check the battery compartment and see if has been corrupted with leaky battery corrosion.
If it has clean the contact really well. Also, make sure you are using new batteries, and the plority is correct while installing the batteries. A kind of rule of thumb here: if it has a spring, then negative (-) is connected here. Unless it has some else, plugs, etc. stewbison

I have a pair of atn night cougars and i havnt used them in a year and they needed new batterys so i got some. when i put them in they wont turn on and i cant figure out what the problem is.

if you left the batterys in and stored the night vision for a year the batterys could leak,,,look at the battery contacts inside your units if corroded clean them up they should work then
never leave baterys in the unit if storing it away for more than a month

Fujino Stabiscope S1240d/N

I don't know about the night vision bits but if it is the same as S-1240 then the 3-pin plug is a power input.

Tony
