Have you opened Internet Options, Connections tab, Lan settings, Check Auto Detect. Trying to connect my wireless epson printer to Netgear router WPN824. When setting up the printer it finds the SSID but after I enter the passphrase and say OK it tells me that the connection is...

Launch a web browser from a computer or wireless device that is connected to your router's network. Type http://routerlogin.net into your web browser's address bar. The user name is adminand the default password is password.

Check or set your WiFi password/passphrase. Here then on any wireless device you want to connect.
if you have 2.4 AND 5.8 ghz you have to set the SSID & passphrase on both.

Our wireless net work comes up but we cant connect to it why?we have a wireless g wgr614v9 router and we cant log on to it with the passphrase

The Netgear router needs the wireless settings configured i.e SSID, WPA encryption etc and the wireless card in the laptop/computer needs to be configured with the router's wireless settings for the laptop/computer to connect with the Netgear wireless router. Pleas click on this link and follow my instructions to secure your wireless network, configure the wireless router's settings and configure the wireless card in the laptop/computer :-

Netgear WGR814v2 does not see my ASUS 1005HA-P netbook, but the netbook sees the the Netgear wireless network but cannot connect .

To connect into your own Netgear router, you need to configure the wireless card with your router's wireless configuration settings, eg.the SSID and encryption settings. Check your router manual on how to configure the router or go to the Netgear WEB site to download this info.
To configure the Netgear router for wireless you need to connect a LAN cable from the laptop to the router and run your browser with the configuration IP address. for Netgear type the URL address ;-
http://192.168.0.1
the login = admin PW = password
Then configure the SSID and encryption, record this info so you can configure the wireless card with the same settings.

You can also connect to the Internet by using a LAN cable and plug it into the Netgear router without a wireless connection.

Can't connect to netwoork

Just configure the wireless settings your laptop. Go to Network Connections > Right-click on Wireless Network > Properties. Go to Wireless Network tab and look for Preferred Networks. Just remove all of them and click OK.

Now, On the Network Connections, right-click on Wireless Network Connection > View Available Wireless Networks. Connect to your own wireless network and enter your wireless network key if it tells you to type it. That should fix your wireless connection. Now if your wireless network is not showing, you need to change the wireless channel of your router by accessing the router's setup page using your wired computer.

Macbook 13.3" won't log in to wireless

You need to check your network card software your problem may lay there. I've seen this problem many times in the passed. I will install a wireless network card or software on someones computer and two days later it will not connect everything looks fine. No matter what I do it will not connect. Remove net software for the card or on board wireless reinstall and boom it works fine.
routers may need reset or configured off the internet or the start up cd. I take this a wireless router hooked to internet gateway. don't know not enough information you may need to tell me a little more. first try install of net-card software then set you working router to unsecure no pass word need see if you connect then change it to you wpa password protected.

My wireless adaptor will not connect to a web page

I would suggest try upgrading the driver you have . Go to http://kbserver.netgear.com/release_notes/d102869.asp . They upgraded firmware says it has "Fixed the long waiting on the Windows XP Service Pack 2."
Hopefully this should help.
Thanks

Can't see any wireless networks in the area, but I know there are many

Can your other laptop see the laptop with the problem. First check that it is being given an IP address in your router and set to obtain IP address automatically. You may need to give the wireless card an ip address and DNS address yourself within the same range as the others; this way you know the addresses are correct. Just check that your problem laptop has the same network group name, right click my computer>properties>computer name and check the workgroup name is tha same as rest of your pc's. Keep trying you'll win in the end!
