To pair your controller back with your PS3, just connect it with a USB cable and press the PS button. Just like you did when you first got your PS3.

Do I need a controller for a ps3 with ylod have no controller for my ps3 yet does this effect the ps3. Do i need one to switch the console o.

if the PS3 has the YLOD, a controller will not assist with starting the system. If both lights come on, you can start the console by pressing the power button or by using a paired controller. To pair a controller just plug it into the console with the provided USB cable.

If you have any additional questions let me know.

I can't add other controllers to play

Try plugging the second controller in to the ps3 using a provided usb cord then press the PS button on the controller. Do this just to make sure that the controller is paired to your PS3. If your still having issues you may need a new controller.

My mad catz controller will not configure to my ps3.How can i do it wireless?

sir good day there are two way on how to configure your wireless controller to your ps3 console.... the automatic pairing and a manual pairing

first way an automatic pairing

1.turn on your ps3..
2.Connect the smaller end of the included USB cable to the PS3 controller.
3.Connect the opposite end into either USB port on the front of the PS3.
The pair light on the PS3 will flash. When it stabilizes, you can disconnect the USB cable
and use the controller wirelessly.

second way a manual pairing

1.. turn your ps3..
2.Connect the smaller end of the included USB cable to the PS3 controller.
3.Connect the opposite end into either USB port on the front of the PS3. Press the "PS" button on the center of the PS3 controller. The pair light on the controller will flash. When it stabilizes, you can disconnect the USB cable and use the controller wirelessly.

you can try that 2 way on how to configure your controller to your ps3 console if this help you please rate me thank you sir..

My ps3 controller wont come on it just flashes 4 times and switches off maybe its because i opend my ps3 system but i put everything back to normal some 1 plz help me!

This usually means that your ps3 controller is no longer paired to your ps3, to re-pair them attach the controller to the ps3 using the usb cable, then press the ps button again when the ps3 is on.

Bought new controller but it wont turn on the system when I press the PS button?

Ok first of all you need to pair it with your system by plugging it in manually through the usb cord. After that it should be ready to go now you can turn it on or off with the PS button.

Just got a new ps3 and i dont no how to turn the bluetooth on

I'm pretty sure you can't just 'turn on the bluetooth', it doesn't work like that, well not for my PS3 anyway.
The controllers use bluetooth, if you want to turn them on just press the PS button on the controller, that will sync it with the PS3, thus making it usable.
