You need a USB cord that goes into the port to the left of where the micro SD card plugs in. Go to this link and they will send another cord, or you may have one that came with a camera. Make sure the unit is turned on when charging. Select(dark background) the USB charge in the menu that comes up when you plug in the cord.

Player will not turn on doesn't look like it is charging. Could the power cord be defective?

Hello,

I wound first suggest you get a similar power cord to charge your mp3 player before concluding that the power cord is bad, if the similar power cord did not charge your mp3 as well, then, it means the power cord is defective. you can now go ahead to get a replacement for the power cord.

Take care.

Getting started problem of Rubicon v424 media player

It's really very easy. First off, make sure that the main power switch is off. Next, plug into your PC. Watch closely, you won't have much time. Toggle to the 'Charge' option (or such). Ensure that you have chosen the one that is 'darker' in text. Just leave the charge option chosen (again, represented as the darker shade of gray), and after a moment, it will begin to charge. I love this little thing!

LEFT POWER CORD IN A HOTEL, CAN'T FIND A 9V 3.0A CORD ANYWHERE

Usually where the power cord goes it tells you what kind it is (i.e. 12vDC). From my experience, Radio Shack offers different kinds of cords as well as plugs for the unit that match up with the plug on your player. I'd go there and check it out but bring the unit with you and they will match things up.

Power

if it is not battery operated, then you have to charge it... what kind of cord did it come with?
if you have a cord that has a usb end then yes you can charge it using your computer.
If it cord has a different end then you need to purchase a charger.

If this is a new mp3 player you should charge it 12 hr.

Hope this helps

I need a power cord for a mintek poriable dvd player

You did not state the model number. Kind of hard to find the correct adapter without that knowledge. Also which cord do you need, the power cord for the car, or the wall in your house.
