What exactly are you trying to 'calibrate'? DVD read speed to specs? Input voltage?

It is a security code. Contact a Kenwood dealer or Kenwood for servicing. They will fix any problem you have with the code.

if its a kenwood thin you can use any kenwood remot and push 55222277 this shold reset it..

Call Kenwood and tell them you have to disconnect the battery to fix your car now that the deck in the car you purchase used need a code. They might charge you a small fee though. Goodluck.

With Pioneer system that problem is common because of the ribbon cable defect, but I dont know about Kenwood. Have you contact Kenwood and express the problem?
