Call Kenwood and tell them you have to disconnect the battery to fix your car now that the deck in the car you purchase used need a code. They might charge you a small fee though. Goodluck.
With Pioneer system that problem is common because of the ribbon cable defect, but I dont know about Kenwood. Have you contact Kenwood and express the problem?
