Reset after using emergency close feature

Hi I have had a sony es1 come back from site needing a new bulb(apparantly) I installed new bulb and reset timer but no joy, lamp still not working. I have since found out that the projector lost power and used the emergency mode to retract tilt and close the cover.

is there a reset procedure as manual says contact sony after using this mode.
at the moment the projector powers up raises tilit etc and after about 30seconds lamp/cover led flashes once and then after another 30 seconds lights atays alight and projector switches off.

Why won't my Sony projector turn on? Projector Not Turning On

Ensure the projector is properly plugged into a working outlet. Check the temperature lights to make sure the device hasn't overheated and shut down. If you are using a remote control to turn on the projector, check the batteries. Be sure all of the projector latches are closed.

I have a Sony VPL-ES1. After I had moved my beamer from the first to the second floor it won't power on. It's connected to the power well. I've had this problem before but I would like to know...

ensure that the projector goes through the cool down cycle, for example the fans stop running, before you unplug it. Unplugging it will cause it to into power failure mode which will not allow the lamp to turn on until the bulb reaches ambient temperature. it will also extend the life of that very expensive bulb. take the extra time to let it shut down before you unplug it.

I have tried to download the driver for my Canon Selphy ES1 photo printer but nothing happens afterward the download finishes. I've lost the disc so can't use it!

You can download the drivers and manuals for your printer at the official Canon site
http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=DownloadDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=359&modelid=14226
Generally, you need to disconnect your printer before you install the driver, plug in the printer after installation. Things should work fine from there.
Let me know if you need additional help. Thanks.

I have a projector (SONY VPL-ES1) and the bulb stopped working. Took the bulb out, and not sure if it's blown or not. I checked online, to see if anyone else had similar problems, and sure enough they...

usually the projector powers and cools down. if you restart it it will open the cover, not projecting anything and after 10 seconds it will close again. this happens if the lamp is shortly before the end of the measured lifetime (no fixed hours) to protect the projector. usually if you take it out once or twice it will work for 1 or 2 more times but the bulb is very likely to explode (not destroying the projector but not good anyways)

The projected picture is "weak"

I think some of the lamps only run to about 1000-1500 hours anyway, so it will be weak. I put a new one in thats only done about 200-300 and it still seems weak to me. I think this projector is just poor quality.
