Hi,
That's easy. When you insert an audio cd launch your Media Player and click on RIP and a downline menu will pop up you can select Rip CD automatically when inserted or more options to customize your cd ripping mode. After ripping the cd you can now add the songs to your library.

Regards,
Pete

I have a Technics SL-PD627 5 disc changer and I want to know is it possible to convert it to read CDs that I have burned from my computer? Thank you

You will probably find that it is the way you are burning the CD's not the fact that they are burnt that is causing your problem.

When it comes to home made audio CD's there are two ways to go:

Method 1 (MP3 CD - only works with newer CD players):
You essentially copy music to the cd as if it were a usb stick and then click write these files to disk. This method allows for (depending on file size) upwards of 100 songs.

Method 2 (Audio CD - the Red Book method):
In method two you burn a cd in the same way that you buy most CD's from the store. This way allows you to add up to 80 mins of music/audio to a disk (method one is limited to file sizes - method two is limited by the amount of time each song takes up).

Considering that the Red Book method was made commercially available in 1982 (the same year as your CD changer), and that the MP3 CD came into play in about 1999 - it is impossible for your CD changer to support the MP3 CD (unless it has been heavily modified).

How do i set a song for my text messages on my mix walkman phone

  • 1Populate your library. To get music from your computer to your Walkman, first make sure the music in your library is properly formatted. The easiest method is to load all of your music into the Windows Media Player library. Open the Windows Media Player and under the "Library" tab choose "Add to Library." A dialog box will open asking what files on your computer you wish to scan for music files. Make your selections and click "OK." Media Player will begin pulling music files into the library.
  • 2Import CDs. If the music you wish to upload to your Walkman resides on CDs you will need to import those into your library as well. Clicking on the "More Options" menu under the "Library" tab then choose "Rip Music." Follow the wizard and import all the music you need from your CD collection.
  • 3Connect the Walkman device to the PC. Your Sony Walkman should have come with a USB cable. Simply attach the cable to your Walkman and to your PC, then allow the computer to automatically install any necessary device drivers. If your PC is unable to automatically install the drivers, you may wish to install the disc provided with your Walkman. After the installation has occurred, you will notice that your device is now visible in your Media Player navigation menu.
  • 4Open your library. Highlight the library function on the navigation menu and double-click on the organization style you wish to employ. This can be by song, artist, album or genre. Then begin perusing your library for music you wish to add to your MP3 player.
  • 5Drag-and-drop music selections. When you find a song you wish to upload, click on the song, hold down the button and drag the title to the Sync List on the right side of your screen. Continue this process until you have chosen all the music you want to add.
  • 6Sync your device. Click on the "Start Sync" button in the lower right side of the screen to start the transfer process.

    sincerely. G-d bless you

MP3 player is frozen, and we need to download CD disk in order to add more music.

Hi, can you please elaborate more on it.
what cd areyou trying to download, is it the main software for the mp3 player? or is it to just download music.

Is it a cd/mp3 player all in one?

Can you tell me which model number you have?

In your pc, if you open up windows media player, you can put in any audio cd and you can rip them to MP3 format. It will automatically save them to the library and then you can burn which ever songs from the library.

When you insert an audio cd you can automatically rip.
Click the rip button at the top and an option box shows, and rip the cd.
you can select the bit rate, this is the quality of the rip, the lower the number the poorer the quality but smaller file size, so you can fit more on a cd.
Click on format and make sure it's on MP3.

Put a blank cd in and click and drag any songs onto the play list.
You could add full audio cd's onto the black cd that have been converted to MP3, so you could fit a fair few albums.

If you need more help, please ask.

If this has helped you then could you please leave feedback.

Regards - Anthony

Can not hook up my ipod

You need to download iTunes and create a library. Once you have iTunes installed...follow these steps.

  1. Add music to your hard drive by inserting CD's into your computer. When you put in a CD it may ask you to import the music into your library, or you may have to click the button on the lower right that says import music. iTunes generally finds the song titles and CD name by itself, but if the CD is obscure or a local band you may have to type it yourself.
  2. iTunes will automatically add the music you took from the CD to your library.
  3. You can also add music you may already have on your computer by going to File> Add file to library or File> Add folder to library. Once you have added all of the music you want to put on the shuffle, go to step 4.
  4. You can now plug in your iPod. iTunes should recognize the iPod pretty quickly. You will see it under a tab on the left called devices. Once it finds the iPod, you should be able to select music from your library and drag it directly to the Shuffle.
  5. You can click on the iPod's icon in the left side column and do several different things. But mainly I would just use it to see how much space you have left for your music.
It's as easy as that! Comment on this post if you need more help.
