The installation disk contains both the software and the driver. The software section is the fancy bits that you see working as the "Program" the functional bit is the "Driver" which operates the camera and is essential to have the "Program" function work as it should. Without the driver the program will not work. As it is from CREATIVE LABS go to their website and under support downloads get the software and driver for your model and reinstall
