Please download and install these two programs to the computer, after you have done so, the video should play back normally, and so should all if not most videos that you can find.
First, install FFDSHOW video decoder. Here is a link to the setup file http://www.free-codecs.com/download_soft.php?d=5550&s=50
installing the decoder is simple, simply click next next and next until the setup ends, then close or finish, you don't need to many any changes into its settings, after its installed it will work on the background when ever a video is played.
Next you need to install VLC media player, its a versitile media player that plays almost anything. You can get it from here http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ - download VLC
After you have installed both, start VLC and open the video file in it, it should play normally, you should have picture and sound.
Let me know if you still have trouble playing video files.
What was the error message that youtube gave you? I'll know more once I know what kind of errors your getting.
Okay, the error message tells me that the storage device - the storage card is either broken or the file didn't get saved properly.
the error Data error (cyclic redundancy check). - this happens when the computer has been trying repeatedly to read a part of the file from the camera or from the storage card, but its not getting a proper response, basically that part of the file is unreadable.
This always means either a not properly saved - corrupt file, or then the storage card is faulty.
A common symptom of a faulty storage device or card is that when your trying to copy a file or open it -- it takes long, sometimes hours, and then finally you get the error message, or it might eventually get copied from the card to the computer.
If the video is important, you should try taking it to a local camera dealer / shop, or a data recovery service - see if they can copy the video or recover it, they should also be able to check if the card works properly. If the card is faulty you may have to buy a new card.
You could Record the video from VLC to your computer using a program called Fraps.
Download and install Frapshttp://www.fraps.com/download.php
When its isntalled you should have the fraps program window on your screen. Check the movies tab, make sure its recording windows or win7 sound. Stereo. Not External input.
Close the VLC and then reopen it. Open the video file, press Play. To record you need to press F9 key, the movie will be saved into the fraps folder under movies. When the video ends press F9 to end the recording.
Now you can find the video from my computer or computer, then C drive, then Program files, then FRAPS, and then movies.
you can upload that one to youtube and it should work normally.

Thank you so much, I'm downloading them both now! I also had a problem uploading the video to youtube when I tried, it gave me the same error message. Will these programs help that?
It said Unknown Error, which is what happened when I tried transferring the files from the memory card to the computer. I'm attempting to upload it again now to make sure that's what the error message says, but I'm pretty sure it was Unknown. The file is playing on VLC by the way! :):)
Okay, I just tried saving the file to my computer again and this is what the message said:
Cannot copy Channel Intro: Data error (cyclic redundancy check).
The video is still uploading on youtube, yesterday it uploaded to almost 70% before it gave me the error message, and that took all day, so it might be a while before I get the message this time.
I was afraid of that =/ I tried messing around with the VLC program to see if there was a way to save it from the player to the computer, no luck. I accept defeat! Lol, thanks for all your help!
That worked, thank you soooo much!
