Even though your old email is gone.. you can still use it to log in to FB. Then go to your account settings and change your email. Double check your new ID spelling! I suggest using a gmail or yahoo or similar email ID that is not dependant on your ISP.

Your title says "problem with routers" but the description indicates you have a problem with your facebook account. This problem doesn't seem to be related to a router however. It sounds like you're learning a painful lesson about life on the internet. Online systems like Facebook are plagued with problems such as this. If your account really has been compromised, there is no "fix". The easiest solution is to abandon the old account and start a new one (they are free, after all). Tell all your friends to block the old account and hopefully it will quickly fade into the sunset. I'm not a big facebook fan but there is probably a way to let Facebook administrators know that the account has been compromised. They may not let you back in but they can watch it for harmful activity (sending spam, etc) and if necessary cancel the account.

Before you do that though, take a day or two to think about the password, check to see if you wrote it down somewhere, etc. I've heard many people insist loudly that they are using the latest password and it isn't working, only to remember later that they recently changed it and suddenly they remember the new password!! :-)

When you receive this kind of email AND you click in the link provided, you are giving the scammer your username and password.

You MUST open a new browser windows, go to facebook website (typing the website address, DO NOT click links to go to that site) and Login with your username and password.

If you are able to login, Change your password Immediately!
