Bad disk We were watching a movie the other day and pushed pause. it was on pause for like an hour, when we came back it would not play and when we turned the player off the on, it said reading and then dsaid it could not play our disk, we tryed it with many movies still same problem. it is a panasonic dvd-rv27

The Laser Optic has gone bad. A simple fix if you can find the correct part for a Technician.

I replaced thousands working for Sony fixing DVD's and PlayStations.

Make sure your speakers and dvd player disk is clean. Skips are common from the lazer reading and will read much better with a quick check on the cd.

Ps3 disk read error

Hello,

This problem has something to do with your PS3's lens. It may have gone bad too. This happened to me too and I brought my PS3 to sony. The culprit was bad lens.

Online videos are choppy

when watching online videos they're choppy, but after I download to realplayer and play back they're fine. I just can't watch any movie trailers or any online videos, too choppy and pause, I downloaded speed bit accelerator, but doesn't seem to be helping. what can I do. I have a vista home basic

Samsung dvd player ht-dm150 (watching movies)

It is most likely that the laser is not a problem because it can read the first part of the disk. If the laser is defective, it willn ot recognize the disk. The problem is probably the seek mechanism. It can only access the inner tracks but cannot read the tracks further from the center.

DVD acting up

if it does it with all the dvd you play then you are starting to have problem with your microchip or the lens needs to be adjust or replaced.take it to a tech you problem is intermitent.so it will be very dificult but from what i am saying to you the tech can go ahead and replace the components the strip leading from the lens should be replace also they like to go bad.good luck.
