Map of us for mio c 220s

Hi! I bought MIO c220s car navigator in Canada. It doesn’t have the US map. Unfortunately it is impossible to buy this map. This map can be bought with the MIO c220 (for US). Do you see any solution?

I have the same problem only I have the US C220 version. When I called MIO they would not allow or even admit to having an upgrade for Canada. Claimed they had no solution for either case US or Canada.

Does anybody know if it's just a question of getting a copy of the maps on a SD card? I know I can make a duplicate backup copy of the US maps on a regular SD card. It seemed to work perfectly.

Do I just have to find someone with a C220s SD card to copy?

I have the Canadian c220s and am ticked that I can't add us maps as I now live in the US. Anyone know how to get around this, Oherwise it's going on ebay. Sucks. It's good technology, but really bad business strategy by the company. Just think of how many map upgrades they could have sold by now.

I've been looking for months and can't find a way to get maps for the US. I live on a border town so wanted to use US as much as the Canadian. Misleading to say it has US maps when I bought. It only has major highways. Would never buy a Mio again and have discouraged others and will continue to do so.

Unfortunately, the best and easiest way to update your maps would be to purchase the upgrade through mio. If you are looking for an illegal/pirated version of the update, you will have to do some heavy searching to find one. I quickly searched some potential sites for the australia maps, but I could not find what you are looking for. Unfortunately, mio is not the most popular GPS brand and free mio map updates are much more difficult to find than Garmin or TomTom map updates. My recommendation would be to pay for the legitimate software, or buy a Garmin or other GPS if you can find a good deal. Here is a new Garmin GPS you can get for 69.99 with free shipping:

Can I download Australian maps into my Mio Moov R403 that I bought in the U S A loaded with USA road mapping.

The R403 is a basic GPS navigator with a 4.3-inch screen running on Windows CE 5.0. It features TeleAtlas maps for all 50 states plus Puerto Rico, and a database with 4 million points-of-interest from Info Data.
U should have checked before buying this device that it works in ur state .
First check that it works in ur state or not

How to unlock my mio m300

If it's locked on the main screen and won't load, follow the below process.
If you want to unlock maps, you need to buy a key or update here:

To reload the software:
1. Connect your device to the computer 2. Make a backup of your addresses and favorites if you wish 3. In File Explorer, right click on the device (removable drive) >> Format 4. Start the Desktop 5. Go to My Mio >> Reinstall the software 6. Go to My Mio >> Recover Keys 7. You can now reinstall the maps from the Maps tab. If you downloaded a map update, make sure to use the downloaded file. 8. Go to My Mio / Voice Transfer and re-install the voice files

How can I get a USA map for my Mio C220 GPS? The map that came with the C220 is only for Canada. A CD-ROM included in the package has a USA map, but only for the major cities. Thanks Andreas

Mio c220 sat nav update

You have to find someone who bought a Mio C220 with europe maps on their cd that came with their unit. You can download map from their cd using a 1gb sd card plugged into your computer.
Or try Ebay.

Mio c220s canadian version

I would thnik you could download the US maps from a US cd that came with their unit to an SD card.

The C220 for the US comes with 4 states on the GPS and the rest on an SD card that is in the side of the unit
I downloaded the 46 maps form my cd to a 1GB SD card that I put in a sot on my computer.

you need a cd with New Zealand maps. I suspect the cd you have has canada maps.
Call MIO and ask if they ever had New Zealnd maps.
