How to make a connection to an iPod and Sony SS2300
<p>The SS2300 is a Sony digital surround sound system with a
Blu-ray player. This gives you the ability to play high-definition video, while
experiencing the content in full surround sound audio. However, the speaker
system audio inputs, so you can connect external devices, including Apple
iPods. Although no direct connection to iPod, you can use a single cable to the
signal from the iPod surround sound system. <br />
<p><br />
<p>1. Insert the end of 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm to RCA splitter in the
headphone port on top of Apple's iPod. <br />
<p><br />
<p>2. Connect the RCA cables into one of the "Audio
In" ports on the back of the Sony SS2300. Multiple connections exist and
you better take note of the connection you use. This makes it easier later on
if the connection to the iPod. <br />

<p>3. Power on the Apple iPod and Sony SS2300 receiver. Press
the "Input" and select the connection to the iPod is connected. <br />
<p><br />
<p>4. Press the "Play" button on the iPod and play
audio content through the Sony surround sound system. <br />
