call toshiba customer care. Seems like software issue. I had the same. I was told to put 2 special files on a usb drive, connect it to tv, to reflash to tv software. it came back to life after that.. just try..
Check the 1.8 ohm resistors in the convergence circuit there will be 6 all 1.8ohms, They will be where your STK ICs are
STK392-110s which are Big Black ICs,You may need to replace ICs They are Big Black ICs with STK392-110 printed on them Mats has them 1-800-628-1118
Are you using the rf antenna input for TV or 1 of the VIDEO inputs from a cable box or sat receiver. If the latter check to see if you unplugged the audio fron the box White and red wires from box. If thats ok Plug that dvd player into that input using the cabes from the dvd player .If you now have sound change ables from box. if still no sound cable box bad. If still no sound from that input check for solder connection on input jacks. If antenna input is used replace the tunner intv.
