I have a Okia 420ATX power supply. I had it

Based on the additional information that the power supply fan turns on for a few seconds and then goes off indicates to me you have a motherboard or processor problem. I would have a service center check the computer for you.

Need fan for Okia 350 ATX

its the bearings in the fan starting to pack up, best way is to stop the fan spinning when its on with a small pencil and this should re- align the bearings in the fan and stop the noise, you will need a new powersupply the fan is on the way out, just a temp. fix for you to stop the irritating noise

I have an OKIA power supply that was installed last September. The fan has stopped working allowing the tower to overheat. Is this model OKIA 350-ATX still in warranty?

Yes, the factory provides a 1 year warranty. Since you installed it some 11 months ago I suggest you contact them asap. You'll probably need to provide the serialnumber to them as part of the procedure.

Okia is not actually the full name, the company that makes them is called Broadway Com Corp and their (powersuplly) website is: http://www.bccpc.com/bccpc/power_all.htm

The contact information can be found at: http://www.bccpc.com/bccpc/contact.htm

My computer turns on but wont turn hdd all the way on it starts then clicks and stops goes to a black screen. and there is a smell coming from the computer. i put the hdd in another tower and it worked.....

If you have a standard atx case then any standard atx power supply should work. Yes you can upgrade to one with more wattage as long as it has all the connectors you need. Hope this helps.

Humming noise

IT sounds like the fan bearings are going out already, or have flat spots on them that cause vibration at speed. Try calling the manufacturer and tell them the fan either quit working or is about to quit.

Power Supply Warrenty

I couldn?t find a web site for Okia either; however, I did note that the venders that sold them usually guaranteed them for one year themselves. I would at least try that route, that and not buy Okia power supplies. There are lots of stories and physical examinations of how poorly they are designed and manufactured.
