Nokia N73 i have forgotton my password to unlock my memory card.

You can't do it with your phone. You need extra hardware and soft for unlocking mmc.

Just connect the mobile with comp......PC Suite of course
and access phone memory where you can find mmcstore file
open the file and you can find the password at the bottom of file...

SOURCE: unlock memory card

First you install File Explorer Software on your Mobile and follow the Steps
Software download from hare
http://www.gosymbian.com/

  1. Insert card into your phone but don’t access it through phone.
  2. Run FExplorer and Open the path C:system.
  3. You will find a file called mmcstore ,rename the file mmcstore.txt
  4. Copy that file(mmcstore.txt) to your pc and open that file in notepad.
  5. You will find your password in that file.

Format the entire phone. This will delete everything on the phone, but so back up pics, videos, etc on the memory card.

To format:

  1. Turn off phone
  2. Hold the following keys down WHILE it's turning back on:
  3. (3 + * + green call key)
  4. Do not let go till it asks about your location
  5. Let johnny_20 know how it goes :)

good day sir! your n73 only solution to unlock your memory card if you have forgotten the password is that, go to a cellphone repair shop who have jaf boss just to retrieve your password without formatting your mmc...

Hi,
You have to type in security code of your phone in order to log into the phone....
By default the security code is 12345 and if you have changed it, you must be knowing....
BUT IF YOU WERE NOT ABLE TO GET INTO THE MOBILE WITH THE 12345 OR IF YOU FORGET THE SECURITYCODE, the one and the only way is to flash the mobile phone(ie, reinstalling the firmware), this cant be done by the normal person, u have to take the phone to nearest service center and flash it, they may charge u very minimal amount......

friend, you have made a mistake by forgetting the password which many people on this site have done. The solution is to format the memory card. Yes, you will loose all data on the card. There are no magic keys to open all and any locks.
