You need to change the photo conducter... its the 2nd tray that pulls out under the toner cartridge I think its a green handle same as toner

check your com port on printer, is it comunicating with pc, check for fualty cabling between pc and printer, check for correct drivers 32bit or 64bit.

You get the PC life warning when the photoconductor kit is near exhaustion. You have to prepare are replacement.

Quite mode OFF is the default factory settings. To reduce noise produced by the printer, quite mode need to be turned ON. This will reduce the amount of noise but this will set the printer run at half speed.

To do this click on Menu Button > General settings> Quite Mode> ON and then press the check button to submit.

PC life warning on X342n indicates that the photoconductor (pc) unit has nearly reached it's rated life. You can still continue printing but will be at risk for developing print quality issues. It is advisable that pc unit be replaced. Now, when you replace the pc unit you will also need to manually reset the pc page counter as well. Thanks.

You may be having a problem with your paper sensors. If your printer is covered under warranty contact Lexmark and have the issue covered under warranty. If not you may need to contact your local Lexmark dealer.

It means that your Photo Conductor is ready for replacement. Call 1-800-LEXMARK for options.
