Go through the following checklist:

  • Plug printer straight to power outlet in the wall. Bypass any surge devices or power strips as they can draw away power from the printer.
  • Properly secure the power cord.
  • Unplug the power adapter from the printer, replug after 30 seconds. The power adapter is the rectangular black box, behind the printer where the power cord is attached. Check if it's warm or cold. It can be a defective power adapter.
  • If you have access to a voltmeter, test power adapter(30V output).
If problem continues, contact Lexmark technical support.

Nothing happens when I push the power button on the front panel of NAD917 Preamp. Any idea why? Is there a way to reset the box?

Probably a fuse in the unit. Unplug it and open it. If you see a blown fuse, take it out and look at the writing on the metal part. buy a fuse with the same power ratings.

What does an error c7 means in toshiba photocopier 1360 ?

C7 could be nothing serious but it had to of happened three times before it quit resetting itself, which means it has happened to you before. This model has a tendency to throw this code for no real threatening reason, but it is there as protection for the copier and it's environment. You really should have a tech look at it for you, and not just reset it.
Switch on the machine, holding down 0 & 8 buttons, type in 89, press the green button, enter a 0, press green button again to accept the new value. switch off & then just switch back on as normal.

Have 2003 Honda Sabre. All electrical working fine. New battery. When I press starter button nothing happens. Could there be a blown fuse. All 10amp fuses good

Chances are that that problem is not fuse related. It is more likely you have a defective starter button. The starter button does two things. First, it turns off the headlight and , second, it activates the starter solenoid. If your starter solenoid clicks when you push the starter button, the starter button is good. If nothing happens when you press the starter button it may be dirty or broken. Try taking the switch apart and cleaning the button contacts.
Next go to the starter solenoid and try jumping the power from one solenoid post to the other. You can use a jumper cable clamp, a screw driver, or touch the two cables together, this sends power directly to the starter. If the starter works now you have a bad solenoid (burnt internal contact points).
If you hold the starter button and tap on the starter with a plastic hammer or back of a screw driver and the starter works , you need new starter brushes. There are no other parts (other than brushes) available for the starter from Honda. If the bearings are bad or the armature is shorted you will have to replace the starter assembly.

Bike wont start press the start button and nothing happens

Follow the positive battery cable to the starter solenoid. Unplug the two small wires going to the solenoid and use a voltage meter to see if you have continuity when you press the starter button. If you do not, clean the starter button or replace the switch assembly. If you jump the two cable terminals on the solenoid and the starter cranks, you have a bad solenoid. If you hold the starter button and tap the starter with a plastic hammer and the starter works, you need new starter brushes. Any other problem with the starter and you will need to buy a new assembly.

I switched from a dial-up connection to DSL, and when I tried to print something, nothing happened. The printer is on and acts like it will print, but nothing happens. Help?

I had this problem once before after changing ink cartridges, and I came to this site for help. I knew that I was supposed to press two buttons at the same time, but I could not remember which two. After reading a post here, I was reminded that the two buttons that must be pressed at the same time are "setup" and "options." It worked once again under these new circumstances. Thanks Again!

Starting fault

There are two safety switches that you may need to test. 1) Neutral safety switch- this switch is what tells the bike that it's in neutral and allows the starter to engage. 2) Kickstand safety switch- this switch will not allow the bike to run in gear if the kickstand is down. My initial guess is the neutral safety switch. If the neutral safety switch is bad, then you will not be able to start the bike with the kickstand down because the bike thinks that it's in gear (even if in neutral). This also may explain why the initial intermitent problem of not starting when warm since the metal contacts will expand and possibly not make contact when warmed up. Are you trying to start the bike with the kickstand up or down? If it were the kickstand safety switch, the bike would probably start okay and then die when you put it in gear.

My shutter will not open. The power button presses in and nothing happens. I have since got a new battery that was the problem, shutter still will not open. Camera is not operative, please...

Can you get any signs of life? playback pictures etc? Try pressing the playback button instead of the power button. If camera display works then press the picture button and see if the camera will switch over and the lens extends. Also check if the tab on the battery door is not broken. This operates a micro switch to cut off power

I have an older Maytag D8512 with an electric igniter. When I push the start button, nothing happens. I checked the pilot light and it is off. I used a long matchstick to see if I could start the pilo

there is no pilot light. electric igniter will glow and pull amps allowing gas valve to open. if you do not see igniter glow it is bad or thermal fuse has blown. look for 120 volts at the igniter when running. if voltage found bad igniter, if no voltage trace back to fuse/stats.this assumes dryer is actually running. if drum not turning could be a number of things. door switch, fuse, etc
