Tv is less than a year old call Phillips for warrenty repair.This tv have a 1 or 2 long boards,call the LCD inverter boards,it have problems,about to died.These 1 or 2 long LCD inverter boards are to help the LCD screen to have a backlight to produced a picture.That why u have dead pictures,but still have sound.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy those 1 or 2 long LCD inverter boards for the replacement.

Sounds like power supply regulator board fault. Check all the electrolytic capacitors for any leaked or bulged one. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Viewing it in "Mosaic" or "Magazine" will make surf easy. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. Do asearch by type in the brand name of your device at its search box.

Sound no picture

Like stated before--May be another bad blub, especially if you used a generic or Neolux one. A phillips bulb WILL work right. Mits sets do NOT like generic bulbs !!

Do u have it hooked up with HDMI or the three color wires? Check all wires all plugged in good n if u have it hooked up HDMI u might need new cable

My Mitsubishi dlp runs for 20 min then screen goes black for 2-3 sec. Then picture is back.

I turn my tv on the picture and sound all work and after about 20min the picture goes to a black screen and I still have my sound. I turned the tv off wait about 5 min turn it back on the picture come on...

If you have electronics experience - check the power supply and make sure you are getting the correct voltage to your inverter boards and main av board - also do you see any movement on the screen take a flashlight and shine on the screen - if you can see a dark image on the screen check inverter boards and power first.
