I find that in viewing this site that the listed " solution" is not a solution at all! This skillet has a defective design and coating and should be recalled!
it is very dificult to get replacement parts for your electric skillet.but you can try partstore.com and see if they have a replacement part for your skillet.good luck and good cooking.
