I own a 52 inch rca hdtv model # d52w20 When turning the tv on the power light would flash 3 times and the tv would not come on. After many attempts the tv would work that lasted for about 3 weeks now it just flashes and does not come on. This happened once before and the tech replaced the power transistor and fly back. I ordered a fly back and will try that any other advice would help.

The flyback should cure your problem.
If the flyback didnt fix that issue locate a small plastic coil with copper wire wrapped around it. check the solder connections on that it is within an inch or two from the flyback its usually white or black plastic tower with exsposed copper wrapped around it.

the fly back did not fix the issue I ordered a Horzontal out put Transistor. I hope this fixes the issue. Any feed back would be helpful Thanks in advance.
The High voltage Transistor did not fix the issue so I did check the connections on those coils. I found 3 green caps 2200 mf16v 22035v 33035v bulging out the top and bottom I pulled those caps and turnd on the tv now I get a high pitch sound instead of a low pitch sound when trying to turn on the tv. I ordered these caps and am pretty sure that this is the last fix I will keep all posted Any feed back you can offer is helpfull and thanks for the help you have already given. Thanks in advance.

i have an rca hdtv d52w20b the power light blinks have to hold the power button down to get it to turn on but once on works fine can turn in off then back on with no problem but if ts off more than an hour i have to hold the button down again to get it back on
