I would recommend a serious carburetor cleaning or even installing a new rebuild kit after the machine setting up for so long. The spark problem must be checked for either the (magneto to flywheel air gap) or the condition of the electrical points and condensor on it (if this older model has them)

How to change fuel filter on tecumseh LH195SP

It might not have one. A fuel filter usually sits on the fuel line between the fuel tank and the carburettor. Check your oil level as well. Some engines have a low oil switch. If the oil level is too low, it will stop the engine.

I have a Tecumseh OHH55 on a wood chipper. I replaced plug, oil, new fuel and cleaned up. I cannot get it to start. Carb was also cleaned. Any suggestions before I take to a repair shop.

Is fuel getting to the carb? Check the fuel line it may be plugged. The rubber deteriorates after many years and plugs up the line and or jets. Its always best to replace the fuel hose when you rebuild the carb. Have you checked for a spark at the plug?

Toro 6.5 tecumseh won't start

replace your spark plug. it takes a Champion J19LM. If you left fuel in your tank over the winter then drain your tank and your float bowl. Add clean fresh fuel and it should go if not you need to clean your carb
