My Sincere advice is that you get it done in one of the Bose Centers in your area. Since it is brand new it should be under warranty period. If you are lucky you may not have to incur any expenses depending on the nature of defect and part replacement.

My old ipod will play in my bose dock but my new one will not...It plays in other brands at the store.

You have an old version of the Bose dock. You can go to the Bose store and get an adapter for the new I pod. Some docks come with 2-3 different type of adapter to patch the generation gap.

Bose sounddock got wet, now it plays but won't

Pleae do not use it further, since we fear that there is water trapped inside yo could have damged the device by powering as the water will create a short circuit with the allied circuits. If this is in the sensitive part section then you wont be lucky. so open up, use a good hair dryer to slowly warm for 5-10 minutes, repeat the same for some times, reassembly and test. hope this works out. helpful? Good day

My Bose SoundDock got slightly wet underneath; it wasn't much water, but it's completely stopped working. Is there anything I can do?

depending on how deep, the docking connector board is probably faulty. If wet they work for a while and then the electricity and liquid eats away the conductors - then you need a replacement board from www.invebo.com . You can also buythe charge upgrade to get you Original dock to charge the Iphone.

Docking cradle in bose sounddock

Order Prod Number 041615 , Description: "279103-004 MOD ASSY CRADLE BLK SOUNDDOCK" from Bose spares. Costs £35. Undo the four philips screws in base, romove cover and replace whole cradle assembly. There is a circuit board attached to the main unit by a ribbon cable - you do not need to remove this cable you can instead can thread the circuit board through the old cradle. Then pull out the ribbon cable that connects the new assembly to the circuit board. Installation of new one n reverse. Protect from static by using wrist strap etc.

New ipod nano not compatable with bose docking

This is true. The new iPod nano is not compatible with the original SoundDock. This only means that it won't charge the iPod's power. Audio should be okay. This is an Apple issue. They changed the way almost all of their iPods charge (except the iPod classic). Bose can upgrade the SoundDock for their normal repair fee of $99. This would also you a new 1 year warranty.

Bose docking station problem. Remote will not work on either my ipod touch or I Phone. The volume buttons work on the remote but the skip and pause/play buttons do not. The Bose is brand new and straight...

If it is brand new. It is under warranty. Go back to the store where it was purchased and tell them the problem. They should replace it with another new one. Have them show you how to use it on all of the functions on your Bose Docking Station. Make sure you tell them about the ipod Touch and the iPhone.

Does the new bose dock station charge the new ipod touch (32g)?

The new SoundDock II charges your new iPod touch and is fully compatible all iPods and the iPhone 3G. Also the SoundDock Portable will do this. But..
Better news-> Call Bose. They can upgrade the 30-pin connector to charge via USB-only and function with the remote as well. $99. This will make your iPod touch 100% compatible and somewhat future-proof your SoundDock. If the SoundDock was purchased within 90 days (at full retail price), they will do the upgrade for a smaller fee or even free I think.. (new 1 year warranty given with repair/mod) btw- This is an Apple issue, not a Bose issue. All 3rd party iPod connection devices had to make this change at some point.
