Make sure the dishwasher is level. If the water is leaking from the door, you should replace the door gasket.
Water under the dishwasher could be from a leaking hose or loose hose connection. Check these by removing the bottom front panel.
The pump seal may need to be replaced. If you are not real handy, call a repairman for this replacement.

GE Dishwasher leaking

HI,
If you're just looking at the machine the problem is not going to be fixed..
and now the question: in witch cycle is leaking?
fill, wash or rinse?
can be...for fill...one hose from filling is broken.
for wash...mechanical seal from wash motor, the plastic manifold, one gasket.
rinse..manifold or hose for the rinse...rinse pump..
for drain..solenoid for drain, the hose for drain..
Anyway you must open the machine first of all and see.

Good luck

Has anyone checked the drain hoses inside the machine. My LDF7932 dishwasher was doing the same thing and it turned out to be one of the drain hoses had a crack that was leaking causing a short in the wash motor and a leak in the machine--hope this helps.
Good luck

Dishwasher MDB6769AWS1 has started making noise just after it fills and starts to wash

There are several moving parts: The motor, pump, valves and actuators, and the rotating sprayers. Is your door seal still okay? If it's not sealing at the top it could sound louder yet not leak water. Or the motor and/or pump shafts are wearing out and becoming noisy. Keep an eye open for leaks, as this is what will happen if the pump becomes defective.

My hotpoint aqarius dc26 dishwasher has stopped

this may be caused by a leak your dishwasher as a build in anti flood switch which stops water from entering when it leaks into the base of dishwasher . You may be able to check this for yourself by unplugging your dishwasher and slowly pulling it out and lean it back if water runs on to your floor you have had a leak .if at this point you turn it back on it might start to fill again .if it does start to fill turn it off again . it will need further examination to see why it leaking .if you feel you can't do this call your local engineer .

FRIGIDAIRE DISHWASHER FDB1050REC0 LEAKS UNDERNEATH

There are a couple reasons water may be leaking out the door of a dishwasher.
1. The water is most likely coming out the bottom of the door where there is no rubber seal.
2. The rubber seal is around the door jam on top and both sides and not on the bottom. This means if the dishwasher has to much detergent in it the soap suds push only the water higher than the front edge of the wash basin and out the bottom of the door where there is no seal!
3. Fill only the soap cup that can close for the secondary wash. The open cup is a pre-wash and mostly not needed unless the food is baked on.This just wastes money to fill both of them every time.
4. And if you are using liquid detergent you only need half the amount from the powdered soap!
try less soap. Remember to much soap too can cause the water overflow.
5. And the last would be that the drain is clogged and caused a back up large or small and then the overflow!
is there water in the bottom when the wash is done?
Soap is usually the culprit, not that there can't be a leak in an old drain or water supply hose!
Go with the soap idea first!

Let me know how you are!
How old is the washer ?

Bosch SHU9915UC Dishwasher - wash cycle won't happen

hi there your dishwasher has gone into flood protection mode ie. water has leaked into the base and activated the float switch.

to try and locate the leak tip your d/w back to drain the water from the base then remove both side panels and start a program to see if you can see where the water is leaking from, being careful not to touch anything while the d/w is running as live parts are exposed

hope this is of some help

Wont wash

The water level sensing switch could be stuck or not functioning and therefore not cutting off the water when it reaches the correct level and starting the wash cycle.
