Sansa Shaker is locking up Windows Media Player

Uninstall all of the Sansa software completely, and see if Windows Media Player behaves normally. If it does not, then uninstall Windows Media Player. Reinstall Windows Media Player first. Then reinstall the Sansa software. Then and only then, plug the Sansa back into the computer. Good luck!

Sansa shaker

How are you transferring the music to your device. thru Windows Media Player, or Rhapsody?

If so, I would suggest manually dragging and dropping the files onto the Shaker thru My Computer.

Also, the Shaker only supports MP3 files.

Best of Luck.

Sansa Shaker

You should not use a program to manage your music on the Sansa Shaker. Just use My Computer to manually drag & drop files onto the device. Also, you can format the device thru My Computer, right click on the device and select format, this will erase everything on the device. Best of Luck
