Our Bunn model B10B starting leaking done the stainless steel cylinder. I took it apart. The part of the top tray between to two rubber washers had disintegrated. How do I get a new black top water tray?

Hamilton Beach coffee grinder model 80393. Blade is really loose, how to tighten please?

Question edited for clarity.

How about a new grinding cup for $10?

https://hamiltonbeach.com/removable-grinding-chamber-990099602

There seems little support and no parts diagrams that show how the parts fit together. There are a couple of videos that may help as all models work to a theme where the grinding cup is concerned.

My Bunn Omatic is leaking around the bottom onto the counter when I pour water into the well. I took the top off and removed the washer and seal to clean. The white plastic of the well hole looks to me...

The washer (gasket) is a tray seal. It's made of silicone. The gasket should be assembled by placing the screw nut into the tray (pan) then slip the white rubber gasket over the nut (under the tray) and gently screwed onto the top of the tank. It should be snug down a bit more than hand tight. Sometimes the nut (a large hollowed out bolt that allows water to flow through) can get a bit corroded. Teflon pipe tape helps but if it still leaks then all those parts will need replacement as it's made with a soft metal that easily pits.
** Okay I've given you the inside scoop but really you should not be poking around in there. Call the your vendor for service.
* parts can be found at Bunn.com or any Resturant equipment supply as this is a very common part. You may be able to find a rubber washer that fits though I suspect the black rubber may leave an after taste. Stick with the red type or find a silicone pad and cut a washer to fit.
* Final - If you have this in an office. Check with your coffee vendor as they may fix it for you or give you a replacement. Doesn't hurt to ask around.

My 10 cup Bunn coffee maker leaks from the top of the water resevoir, from the right top side and from the back top. It looses aprox. 2 cups of water onto my counter while brewing. What has happened to...

I have the same problem and I took the coffee maker apart to find out why. It has to do with a leak on a fitting. On mine I found that the fitting where the hole in the black plastic that the water flows through to get into the stainless steel tank needed to be repaired with some silicone sealant to fix the leak. Still making some coffee!

My Bunn leaks out of the back of the machine when I pour water in it?

Check to see if there is a little tiny drain hole that allows the water to flow out if overfilled. If so, avoid pouring water near it, and certainly not above it.

Bunn B10-B leaks

I used Foxhollowrun's solution and went to my local hardware store (Menard's). You can purchase 3/4" Hole Grommets typically found in the electrical department. The brand I purchased was Gardner Bender Model GHG-1575 3/4" Hole Grommets. Here is all that you need to do (very quick and easy):

1) Break away the brittle pieces from the original hole in the resevoir.

2) Remove the old rubber / plastic washers - I found I didn't need them. However, hang onto your metal washer that the drain screw goes through.

3) Slip the 3/4" grommet around the hole.

4) Place the original metal washer on top of the grommet.

5) Screw the drain screw back into the heater which will seal the grommet via pressure. Be sure not to over tighten it - I just snugged mine up.

6) Put everything back together, rinse several pots of water through it, check for leaks, and you should be good to go.

As Foxhollowrun indicated, you may need to tighten the drain screw a bit if you do have a leak. I lucked out - it worked the first time. I believe it cost me about $2 to fix. Also, I did not need any caulk. If you do use caulk, I was told you need to use food-grade caulk.

One last note - as Foxhollowrun indicated, the grommets are quick thick which is why I removed all of the old washers. The original metal washer is just thin enough to allow the drain screw to be reinstalled.

Thanks to Foxhollowrun for a great remedy!

My bunn coffee maker leaks water out the coffee maker.

You need to replace the washer kit inside the top of the maker. Remove the 3 screws that fasten the top and lift it off. You will see the rocker leaver that allows the water to flow into the tank. At the point where the rocker stops the water there is a series of washers that degrade from the heat over time and allows the leak. The washers are very easy to replace. The problem is finding the washer kit. I found it at: www.buyitnow64.com for $3.95 plus shipping (FedEx is only $9.98). I bought 2 (one for backup) kits. The original washers lasted almost 6 years. I had repaired this problem before with a washer from my shop but it broke down rather quickly from the direct heat from the tank. This washer kit is a Bunn washer kit that is supposed to fit all Bunn machines both residential and commercial.
Hope this helps. It took me 2 hours on line to find the washers!

My Bunn coffee maker is leaking water

Dennis Karlen supplies repair parts for this problem. You can find the various kits on his website

http://www.jneuhaus.com/appliance/karlen.html

There are other suppliers who sell two silicon washers and a stainless steel washer in kits, but they tend to run considerably more.

The rubber washer would degrade quickly due to the heat. You may be able to get by with a new silicon washer. Check your local (not national chain but local francisee) hardware store.

Bunn Coffee Maker Leaks out the bottom

I have an older BUNN B10 pour-o-matic that I thought was leaking from the bottom. Upon close inspection, I found that it was leaking from the worn out washers located on the top of the tank, allowing water to run down the sides of the stainless steel tank. There's a great fix offered on Fixya.com that suggests going to a hardware store and buying a Gardner Bender GHG-1575 rubber grommet with a 3/4" hole and install it into the large hole in the basin. Then place a metal washer on top of the grommet and snug it up with the threaded fitting. Many folks say it's a great fix. I went a different route. I called BUNN customer service and spoke to a very nice woman who understood my needs and sent out a free repair kit that contained a new fitting, washer, and seal. I received it in a few days and it's working great. Beats going out and buying parts for a work around repair. BTW, the repair kit is called "Universal Retail Seal Replacement Kit #37091.0000"
