Windows could not start because of an error in the software problem:load needed DLLS for kernek

Please insert the Windows disk and restart to boot to the CD.

There is a special function called Recovery Mode in which Windows will just re-install the basic DLLs and drivers needed to make sure Windows functions.

Recovery mode WILL NOT remove your current Windows installation.

Acer aspire one starts to boot up stops at windows xp screen

Hi there !

I suggest you try to run your computer on safe mode by pressing F8 when booting up. Advance menu options will pop up and choose run on safe mode. When it load the Windows, try to figure out what you installed or you before your computer happens. I suggest that you download also windows registry cleaner to fix some errors in your computer that prevent you to go to windows screen when booting up on normal mode. Run the FULL SCAN and press the fix errors button.

I should somehow help your computer.

I have a biostar A780L w AMD Phenom x3 relic mobo for virus magnet XP. and w7 tired.

am2+ relic mobo with dead AMD RS780L (graphics chip must have driver to work.)
Chipsets
AMD SB710 ( runs the sata ports !!!!) and driver must be loaded.
to load any OS on this old mobo. The os must support those relic chips

so your install disks are real, or off stinking Torrents/?
the 710 drivers are here.

https://www.amd.com/en/support/embedded/amd-embedded-radeon/embedded-chipsets/amd-780e-sb710-chipset

if the w7 installer shows the hdd missing then 1: driver is dead.
or 2: the driver is missing so click load preboot driver. at the error screen. and load it, XP is trash and F6 worse, never ever use XP
w7 is all that runs here . now.

I bought lenovo G550 last week. It came with Windows Vista. I want to install Windows XP on it. I have found that lenovo has driver for windows XP so that will make my life easy :-) But when I try to...

you are most likely getting a BSOD with a stop error code of 0x0000007B which is caused by the Windows XP CD that you are using doesn't have the SATA Hard Drive controller driver needed to recognize and utilize the hard drive. If Lenovo has XP drivers for this model then they should have a SATA driver (roughly 394k) that will need to be loaded FROM A FLOPPY DISKETTE during the boot to XP. (XP Requires the driver to either be slipstreamed into the CD or loaded from a floppy diskette. Trying to load the controller driver USB or a different CD will not work)

HP 520 Notebook. Shuts down before installing new OS.

I agree a clean install is always the better, fresh start J
OK it sounds like missing drivers, what you have to do is create a new installation CD that will load the drivers for your laptop as it boots. I haven’t try this method with windows 7, but I know it works well with Windows XP. Try and create a new Windows XP CD with the drivers see: http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/35/
The start a new installation with this Windows XP CD and reformat you computer, after that you can do a new upgrade to windows 7

My Phillips web cam doesnt work anymore. BTW I have a Japanese Windows XP When trying to load my driver the it loads up to about 44 percent and then stops. install shield wizard says component transfer...

Good day sir/maam, if the driver does't finish loading, means that the CD or the CD drive is the culprit. try to use the CD on another PC. copy the files to a flash drive (just make sure you get a good copy). then bring the copy to your PC. load the driver again.
If still wont load. problem with the XP, reinstall your XP again. scan your files with antivirus and also all your flash drives. Reinstall your driver. just make sure your PC is virus free.

Computer won't load Windows

Hello,
1. What the motherboard you had been using
2. Whats the HDD

Check that your motherboard supports the higher HDD
Upto 80GB HDD Windows can load the XP with servicepack 1
But after 80GB HDD supports the WIN XP with service pack 2 CD only.  Try to install with the winxp having above sp1.

Hard drive driver problem

Hi,

It is possible that your hard drive is a SATA and therefore not readily readable by 98, XP but surprised not even by Vista. In any case, since you would still prefer to run XP (due to other software compatibility issues), pls press F6 when prompted by the XP installer. Additionally, you would need to have ready in a floppy the appropriate SATA drivers for your motherboard. They maybe downloaded from the motherboard manufacturer's website or possibly in the installer/driver CD that came with the PC.

Other than the above, it is also possible that you may have some issues with the availability of XP drivers for the other devices for that computer specially if it is branded.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Problem loading win XP-SP2

Don;t know if this is the cause of u're errors, but it might be do to the motherboard chipset drivers (the lack of them in u're windows version). If so, u have to make a copy of u're windows cd with all u're motherboard drivers included, and try to install with that cd. The same problem appears to all new laptops that do not offer XP support and only Vista support . In order to do the new XP cd, u\ll need a little program that u'l find on internet..... (for example: n-lite)
