I own a scotts easygreen lawn spreader i went to push the on off button and all of a sudden i noticed that the plastic piece that controls the flow of the fertilizer had busted its the piece thats connected to the rod and goes into the control to open the piece that controls the flow i was wondering if there is a place i can buy this piece because of the age of it theres nothing else wrong with it thank for your responce

I cross referenced a product on the Scotts website that uses the same settings as one of those listed on the Lesco website and I found my settings that way.
In my case I was using Lesco Pre-M 0.86% 0-0-7 and wanted to apply 5.3 lbs/1000ft. My spreader was a Scotts Turf Builder EdgeGuard Mini with settings from 0-15. I found out by cross referencing that the Scotts Speedy Green 1000 and my spreader used the same settings. So I ended up using the recommended setting of 5.5, as listed on the Lesco website for the Scotts Speedy Green 1000, to apply 5.3 lbs/1000ft of pre emergent using my Scotts EdgeGuard Mini.

If the product you are applying has a spreader setting for any ScottsSpeedyGreen, you can use that setting recommendation. If there is no Scotts Spreader setting, then this question would best be answered by calling Scotts directly at 1-800-543-8873. One of our associates would be happy to assist you further. It should say on the back of the box or give some indication as to the settings but in general you can gague it from the flow rate and or the granual size but a rough setting is about 5 to 6
