all hookups could be correct but make sure that all the wirings are working correctly sometimes some wires are loose(the wire itself) specially the wire the is directly connected to your tv.

you may need the ilumination, pleas google your car model year and brand and the words "stereo wiring diagrams" and you'll may find the correct wire distribution of your car

make sure the yellow wire is connected to a constant power source.

Any car stereo shop should have what you need. Might be a special antenna adapter for certain vehicles.

The remote turn-on wire for an amplifier connects to a switched power source. If the head unit has a power antenna lead, or amp control lead, use it. If not, the remote lead can go to a power source that is switched with the ignition key. No matter the source, you need to fuse the wire with a 1 amp fuse at the point where you connect to the power source.
