Question about RCA 25110RE3 Phone
Hi,
To begin with, it could be a combination of many problems. As you discuss that the other person can't hear you, this usually indicates that there is a problem with microphone and needs replacement. Regarding, unable to dial more than 6 digits, it seems to be a circuitry problem and needs extensive inspection of the board. It is not a wise idea to get it repaired as the cost of repair may be higher equivalent to the cost of the product. It is better to look for a used set around $50 than to spent so many bucks and still, never a guarantee that it would work for few weeks or months. I hope i have provided you few thoughts.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.

Thanks for your response!!
OK!!
Now, it's more clear and precise. As you said, the person on the other line cannot hear you only when you transfer the line from another phone, this is more of an indication of circuitry problem. So, in this case, either ways you need to open the phone and get it fixed. It would require you to check few IC's and diodes that are responsible for it's functionality. If ' other person - cannot hear ' problem is only when you transfer the line, the above mentioned 2 issue's seems to be co related.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.

When using the phone by itself and dialing locally there are zero problems. Problem #1 is when trying to dial long distance which requires 10 digits. It appears that the problem is starting with a zero which seems to prompt "Initialization" Problem #2 is when a call is received on another phone and then switched that call to this phone that the caller can't hear me.
