I have a Frigidaire dishwasher that's just over 1 year old and I use it a couple times a week. I turned it on last night and went in another room. appox 30 minutes later my daughter came in and noticed the soap suds all over the kitchen floor, the inside was all sudzy. It was in the wash cycle so I turned it off just by opening the door for overnight and restarted this morning and after about 20 minutes (still in the wash cycle) the suds started oozing out so I that's where I'm at now. Thanks.

having the same problem with mine, just replaced the discharge pump last week because it went out, worked a couple days now this. still have not figured out the problem

Turned Fridgidaire washer on last night before going to bed; this morning, it's running (at least making sounds) but did not wash; 4000 Series Frigidaire; display says Washing Drying Er Clean S; and two lights are flashing - Ultimate Scrub and Rinse only.
I tried turning off the breaker and restarting the machine but that doesn't work.

There is a curing process for the foam used to insulate these. It can give off a pungent odor until it is fully cured. Only experienced it a couple times in the last 20 years. eric

Symptoms of a Defective or dying Power supplies on LCD TVs.

We have had the same problem and upon removing the main circulation pump, I found that the housing had come apart and had to order a new pump and install it. But the problem did stop there. The pump that discharges the dirty water has two stainless steel ball bearings in it and was worn out. So now I have to replace this pump also..... this needless to say, will be my last fridgidaire dishwasher. The unit is not ever six years old and might be used once a week.

The new ones are much more efficient! If you have to replace it buy a Speed Queen , it will do 8 loads a week for 25 years!
It's the last washer and dryer I will ever buy!!!! And less expensive than a top of the line unit!

The repair can be done yourself you need to first purchas a can of liquid wrench with extention. and first shut off power or disconnect power. there is a acess panal that you need to remove to get at gears to grease once it is greased you will need to turn the dial a couple of times (powerless) and replace the panel and plug or turn on power (when you are turning the knob besure to return to the start cycle ) if you need more info please email me [email protected] thank you and good luck

try setting the date 1 week ahead on the DS and then see if you can walk 1 dog (do not go for the walk), then set the date back and see if it works. i set the date back once and could not walk my dogs.
