Freezer door We have an LG bottom freezer (swing door) and it is 8 months old. When the upper door is open you can notice the freezer door is pulled in slightly. When the upper door is closed, the freezer door pops open approximately 1/4". It seems to be a new problem. Can you offer some suggestions on how to resolve this?

The swing arm gets stuck behing the ice bucket and the drawyer won't open

Swing arm alignment can be restored by resetting the ice maker. There is a reset on the bottom, near the front of the ice maker. HOLD it down through a complete cycle, about 8 seconds, then wait for the two-tone chime to indicate the reset is complete. Failing that, a new ice maker may be needed, the old one may need thawing or there is debris under the bin or arm stopping the cycle. I have actually tore this thing off by opening the freezer at the the exact moment it was cycling too, arrrrgh.

Why wont my refrigerator & freezer get cold?

If all is running, the compressor is not pumping properly, or the refrigerant is low. or blocked.

LG Bottom freezer refrigerator Model LFC21760 does not cool

The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer through a vent(damper) between the freezer and fridge. The fan in the freezer blows air through it. Make sure this fan is running. You may have to hold the door switch in for it to run. There is a flap you adjust with the fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust the fridge temp.
The problem could be the electronic control if you have one or the mechanical linkages

Bottom freezer door opens when top door is open and then closed

the door pops open because freezer and frig. are connected together via duct. air pressure builds when you swing ref door closed. apply a small amount of vasoline to the surface of the hinge side of both gaskets. this will aid in door closure. also the unit may be not level

Roaring sound

I have had the same issues. I have owned my LFX25960 for 18 months. All the cooling, noise, and condensation problems are related to 2 fans. One for the freezer/refrigerator compartments and One for the Ice Maker. The fans, apparently, are not sufficient to move enough air through the coils located behind a plastic panel in the freezer compartment. The part numbers for my fans are 1. Ice Maker 4681JB1029E and Refrig/Freezer 4681JK1004E. It is not impossible, but fairly difficult to replace them yourself. You have to remove the large slide out freezer drawer and glides. Then work the back freezer panel loose from the bottom. Be careful not to break it. It is plastic.
Routine maintenance: Pull the refrig out from the wall and blow-out the coils and fan located on the lower right rear. You might find it easier to do this by removing the cover on the lower, back of the refrig.

Ice in freezer compartment

Check to see if your drain tube is clear. Sometimes it freezes up at the base of the rear cover in these bottom freezers. Causing an ice dam.

Ice in freezer compartment

I have seen this problem with the LG freezer unders. There is a air leak that is getting into the freezr allowing the moisture to frost up at the back of the freezer. It will form frost all over too. Since your unit is 8 month old call Lg and let them deal with the problem. At my last Lg training the problem is with the air damper in the fresh food section may not be closing fully. So Call for service.
