The video chip from your motherboard is way too old for 7, it's so old that it was too weak even for XP.
You need to add a recent video card.

First let me say that the maker of the motherboard is important. About 10 companies made that model and have their own drivers
Its important to find the name, MSI, Foxconn, ASUS, Gigabyte ect... and each one has a chiset and a version.
GO here for example..
http://www.msi.com/index.php?func=downloadindex
Find the makers name on the board and the model # next to it.
Windows loads default drivers just to get you up & running. Its up to you to update the drivers for the hardware.

No sound and garaphics

If you have downloaded the drivers from the manufacturers site, or used your CD that came with the motherboard (and I'm assuming here that you are using the onboard graphics and onboard sound), then the failure of these to work, is down to failed hardware. This is unusual and rarely do you get both sound and video problems.

The description you provide refers to the chipset itself and not the actual motherboard. If you can find printed on the motherboard a reference number, I can help trace the drivers for you further.

If you already have the drivers, is it possible that you are trying to use them with an operating system that is not supported by your board?

If say you upgraded to Windows 7 from Win XP, depending on the age of the motherboard, the manufacturer may not support Windows 7. If this is the case, or by some chance, both sound and video are not functioning, you can get round this by fitting a separate sound and video card for which there are more updated drivers.

Post the model of the motherboard and I (or someone else) may be able to help further.

Non consigliato, la scheda madre ? troppo vecchia e non supporter? Windows 7 ne meno al minimo. Almeno ha bisogno di una nuova scheda video con DX9.2.
