Mine did this too. I found that setting the time on the clock fixed the problem. to set the time turn the stereo off then back on. you cant set the clock if the stereo has turned itself back on. press the clock button then press set. you can set the time or just press set again. the clock is set. you will need to do this each time the stereo is turned off at the wall or after any power interruption no matter how brief.
