Everytime I try to graph on my calculator it says ERROR 13 DIMENSION. How do I fix that?

You entered an argument with an inappropriate dimension.
You entered a matrix or vector dimension less than 1 or greater than 255 or a non-integer.
You attempted to invert a matrix that is not a square matrix.

Having problem with ti 83 calculator everytime i graph it read error invalid dimensions

You must deactivate the statistical plots. If you do statistical graphs, the graphing is reconfigured in a way that happens to be incompatible with regular fuction graphs.

  1. To deactivate the statistical plots.
  2. Press [2nd][Y=] to access the (STAT PLOT) menu.
  3. Press [4:PlotsOff][ENTER].
  4. Calculator displays Done.
  5. You are ready to draw the function graphs.

You're probably trying to graph a function that does not involve stat plot features. You can correct this by turning off the stat plot features.

Press GRAPH F1 to enter the equation editor.

Plot1 Plot2 Plot3 on the top line of the equation editor displays the on/off status of each stat plot. When a plot name is highlighted, the plot is on. To toggle the status, press up, left, and right to place the cursor on the name, then press ENTER.

Error 13 dimension

Hello,
You were lucky not to see the dimension problem with the TI83Plus.
To get rid of the message, reset you calculator to DEFAULT configuration. It will erase nay garbage in the registers and you can draw your graph.

Getting the Error 13 Dimension

This just happened to me too after i tried to plot some statistics. Press 2nd, +(STAT), then F3 for plot and see that you have all the STAT PLOTS turned off.
