Or, you have coins in your pump casing. Look on the back of the washer, and unscrew the circular port in the bottom right corner. (Keep an 8x13 baking pan underneath, water will escape once you open the chamber). Remove and change/objects from the chamber and replace the port. You should be good to go. This is actually very common for this model washer.

There is a bolt that is broken on the agitator shaft. lift lid, take off centre piece at top of agitator, lift out plastic seal, lift agitator out. replace the two horizontal bolts holding drum to shaft. tighten all the way.

The spin cycle is very noisy. What could be the problem?

hi robyn.
A washer making a loud noise during spin cycle can also be caused by a faulty drive pulley. The pulley is what the belt (if applicable to yourwasher) rides on to spin your washers tub. The pulley can be made of plastic or metal. It could be simply worn out or just loose.27 Jul 2015

Electrolux front load washing machine ew10001 spin cycle slow on "SPIN" setting runs fine through regular wash setting? any ideas?

Hello jamespeattie - Does the washer making a humming noise? If so, either the drain hose may be kinked or the drain in the house is clogged. Once you have confirmed and cleaned the hose and if issue continues contact a professional to move forward accurately. The unit may possibly have a faulty pump or control board.

Will not spin

Hello - Is the drain pump making a humming noise? If so, you possibly have a restriction in the drain line. Try setting the cycle to spin only and verify if water pumps out. If it does not, the unit could possibly be experiencing an issue with the pump, door lock assembly or timer. Contact a professional to move forward accurately.

Glws1339cs1, started making noise like a belt was slipping during the spin cycle

Hello Bill Johnson - Is the washer draining or spinning? Could it possibly be a humming noise? If it is not doing either or and making a humming noise then it could possibly have a restriction in the drain line. Or either the belt is loose and will have to be put around the transmission and then spin it on to the motor or there is an issue with the lower/upper bearing. I would suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately to properly diagnose/repair the washer.
