If you have the operating systems disk boot to the disk like you are going to reload operating system ( OS disk example Window XP or Vista Disk) Run though the steps on screen till you get to the point where it asks if you want to load a fresh copy of OS, this will be past the point where you press F8 to continue. Do not load fresh copy of OS. There should be an option to repare you OS. This will fix the OS with out loosing any of you files and stuff on the PC.

My sony mbx-223 motherboard hanging when windows booting time, setup time working fine

Dont get exactly your problem but i will try to give some tips.

1. Hanged for about 10 to 15 mins, then proceed to windows? if this is the case, then i would check first the boot sequence, sometimes computer uses network boot.

2. Removed external HDD or flash drive when booting.

3. At the BIOS, try to change the SATA mode to compatibility

My TA-790gx m2+ hangs!!!

If you can get to Safe Mode, maybe Device Manager would show what driver is needed or not available. Try less RAM also, in case there's a bad strip.

HI

it seems that there is some static electricity stored in the computer..........do you leave the computer turned on 24/7?

anyways...here is the fix...

turn off the computer(make sure there are no lights on the keyboard)

disconnect all the cables(including the power cable)

press and hold down the power button for 30 to 40 seconds and release it.

plug in all the cables

turn on the computer

this should work(this releases the static which is stored in the computer)

to avoid this make sure the computer is off when its not in use.....

if that doesnt work you try reseating the hard drive

or you can try to enter to bios to test the functionality of the hard drive

tap f10 or f2 key as soon as you turn on the computer

keep tapping it till you see a screen

press NO if you are asked to choose yes/no

look for advanced>>primary hard disk self test>>run the quick and comprehensive test to check the functionality

if you are able to enter into bios(hardware is fine)

try to go to SAFE MODE by tapping F8(ADVANCED BOOT OPTIONS)

SAFE MODE>>START>>RUN>>MSCONFIG>>START UP>>DISABLE START UP ITEMS>>APPLY>>OK>>

RESTART THE COMPUTER

this should work

please have some patience and try doing this your computer should work

have a good day

Bios hangs

Reseat all cards in system, including the RAM. If it still does not boot try removing one stick of ram at a time to see if it boots. As well as removing extra cards.
