Our Westinghouse virtuosa freezer alarm keeps going off. the door is definitely closed. however we did move house yesterday

When you move a fridge or freezer you need to let them stand for a couple of hours prior to turning back on again especially if you put on its side or turn it upside down.
This helps the gas in the pipes settle down I would suggest you turn it of for a couple of hours then turn it on again see if that helps.

What do we do about a Westinghouse , vituoso where the freezer alarm keeps going off despite an expert checking and finding the fridge/freezer working perfectly well? Can the alarm be disabled?

The alarm is nothing more than a buzzer or light mechanism that is triggered by some sensor. . Disconnecting the wiring going to alarm will disable it.

Often these have door alarms. If the door isn't completely sealed shut then it will alarm and cause the temperature/thermostat to blink to warn of "warm" temperature inside the fridge

My Westinghouse Frost Free fridge is not working. The freezer is working. It is has the freezer on top of the fridge, separate doors

Even though it is frost free, try defrosting it by turning it off with the doors open for a few hours. There may be ice or something else blocking the vent between the freezer and refrigerator sections. Of course you will need to remove everything from the fridg and freezer and store it somewhere else that is cold.

Westinghouse virtuoso the alarm keeps going off fridge not cooling freezer is not freezing. Help!

Try adding refrigerant or freon. The Alarm just warns you that it's not cooling or freezing and your food is thawing out. Check the fan if you hear the fan running it should be the coolant needs to be put in it. Or it could possibly be both.

I have a tall smeg fridge freezer. Freezer compartment working perfectly. Fridge not cooling despite all lights being on. I've switched it off then on, turned the thermostat down, then up again...

Hi Evelyn,
Has the freezer been defrosted lately? Perhaps a buildup of ice will not let the refrigerator cool sufficiently. Try this and let me know how it works out for you. If it does not have a self defrosting cycle on it, it may take some time, just do not use a sharp object in the freezer as this could puncture the freon lines and that would render the unit useless.
