If an alert says that your accessory isn't supported or certified. It took me a while to figure this one out. Firstly plug your device in to the aux socket and play some music so you can hear when it's correctly switched over. Turn on the iwantit using the switch at the back then press the play button once, you should see the lights on the buttons go brighter. Now press the play button again, this time holding it down for exactly 3 seconds. When you release the button you should be in aux mode and you should hear your music playing. Hope this helps, it took me about an hour of faffing around before I finally figured it out.
Ipod touch does NOT have a sim card slot nor will it ever have one. The iPod touch was not built as a phone so you'll have to go out and buy yourself a shiny new iPhone 4 or 3GS, whatever your preference.
It sounds like you have some internal screen damage, your LCD may be damaged or your digitizer. A professional will need to take your phone apart and determine the cause.
