On mine the "normal" light was the one that was flashing; after a cycling of the breaker switch in the electrical main panel and closing the washer door, it went to a 2 minute rinse before shutdown.

I have an Electrolux Dishwasher that always starts on low rinse

Hello Friend, this is Z. Thank you for your post!

I see that your Electrolux dishwasher starts cycle on low rinse. This typically indicates your dishwasher has low rinse aid. The RINISING AGENT LOW light, typically located near the Rinse Only Pad, comes on at the end of cleaning cycle when the rinse agent reservoir is low. The light will remain on through 5 successive cycles or until the reservoir is filled. Also, using rinse aid will enhance dryer performance and reduces water sports and filming. Hope this helps!

My Kitchen Aid Dishwasher model # KUDS40FVSS0 has blinking cancel, sani-rinse and normal wash lights. It will not run at all. We replace the control board and still nothing. Please Help!!!

I have had this problem. Mine didn't work for over a week and by the time the repair man came over to 'replace the board' it suddenly worked. The guy told me that if you use ANY type of liquid dishwashing soap (for your sink) and any residue/bubble is on the dishes, it can cause your dishwasher to break. I have no idea why but I've been really careful to make sure I wasn't using dish soap prior to putting them in the washer.

I've had 3 service calls on this dishwasher since I purchased it 3 years ago. I'm having similar service issues with my Kitchen Aid Fridge. And of course no help from Kitchen Aid.

Unknown control panel symbols bosch dishwasher super silent

Wash Cycle Options

Delay Start (model dependent):

This option allows you to delay the start time of your dishwasher up

to 19 hours.

Sanitize:

The Sanitize feature is available only in the Heavy, Auto, Normal and Half Load cycles. Press the

"Sanitize Option" button to activate the Sanitation features during these cycles. The technical sanitation

measures may also improve the drying results. The sanitize LED or The "Water Pipe" symbol will light when sanitation

requirements are met.

Note: The dishwasher automatically defaults to Auto Wash when turned off and back on. If you used the sanitize option
in your last cycle, the dishwasher will default to Auto Wash with the Sanitize option selected when you turn it on.

To achieve proper drying, always use a liquid rinse aid, even if your detergent contains a rinse aid or

drying additive.

Note: The dishwasher indicates low rinse aid by turning on the Refill Rinse Aid indicator LED (for units without

a display) or The "Spray Looking" symbol (for units with a display).

If this light is on, you need to refill the rinse aid dispenser

I got the idea that the "squiggly arrow" has something to do with the sanitize feature also. If you post your model number "on the inside right hand side of your dishwasher door" I'll go get your manual and post the link here. Hope this helps so far! :)

Kitchenaid dishwasher KUDS01DJ Rinse only light is flashing. control panel is frozen with only rinse only light flashing. does not respond to pressing of any buttons. I flipped the breaker switch,...

Ok, Turn breaker off at breaker panel. Just off then on. The rinse only light should be on.....not flashing. Now press the start button first and hold; then press the cancel button. That should cancel all lights. Then press wash button then start. If the light is still flashing after you turn off breaker....you might have a bigger problem. May need new control panel.

Clean light flashes on my KitchenAid KUDS01DJ and it wont run

My dishwasher did the same thing. The repair guy fixed it and told us how to reset next time it happens: press: Hi temp then Energy saver then Hi Temp then Energy saver do this quickly over 5 seconds all the lights should come on Then, turn off the breaker for one minute then, go back to the dishwasher and press cancel. All the lights should turn off. Start dishwasher as usual. If the cause was just a brain fart, the dishwasher should work.

Kitchen Aid Model # KUDP01ILWH2 Dishwasher dishes

Hi.

Using too much rinse aid will not work. Stick to user manual factory prescriptions. If you use correct amount of rinse aid, and the right product for your dishwasher, that is not the cause of the stains.

Ensure that you are using the right detergent along with rinse aid. Check specifications on manual.

Ensure that the drain well is clean.

Ensure that spray arms have enough pressure, check water level and impeller pump.

If you still get stains on dishes, and you are sure that they had been caused by limescale, that means that the water in your house is too hard. This will also damage your appliances in the long term, causing faults due to accumulation of limescale and rust.

The best thing to do is installing a water filtration system on the appliance inlet.Call your local appliance shop or technician to discuss about the problem and purchase a filtration system for your appliance.

"clean" light is blinking

Check the following:
1. Is the overfill protection float able to move up and down
freely? Press down to release.
2. Be sure the water supply is turned on to the dishwasher.

3. Check for suds in the dishwasher. If foam or suds are
detected by the dishwasher sensing system, the
dishwasher may not operate properly or may not fill with
water.
Suds can come from:
1. Using the incorrect type of detergent, such as
laundry detergent, hand soap, or dish detergent for
hand washing dishes.
2. Forgetting to replace the rinse aid dispenser cap
after filling (or refilling) the rinse aid, or spilling rinse aid into the tub (rinse aid causes suds to occur).
3. Using an excessive amount of dishwasher detergent.

Cancel Light Flashing on Kitchen Aid Dishwasher

I ran into this same problem. Cutting the power didnt reset it.

After power reset, mine had the normal led blinking. If I pressed cancel, then the cancel and china button leds would start blinking too.

I pulled out the trouble shooting guide (from behind the baseboard kick panel under the dishwasher door). It that if the dishwasher wont run and button LEDs are blinking there is a short circuit in the keypad. It gave a keypad diagnostic sequence which I followed. (disconnect keypad and try to initiate the diagnostic cycle without the keypad by disconecting the yellow leads to OWI sensor twice in less than 6 seconds.

I could hear the diagnostic cycle start, so the problem is a bad keypad. Will order a new one tomorrow and let you know if it works.
