My house flooded this week causing damage to all flooring. What can cause water to suddenly come into the fridge? When water was turned back on there was water flowing under the fridge? Would a filter cause this to fail or an inlet solenoid valve?

There are a number of things that would cause this, including the inlet valve and filter. However, a cracked filter is by far the most common cause. Remove the water filter and if it no longer leaks, the filter is bad. If it continues to leak, it is likely the filter housing that is the issue.

Why does my freezer keep freezing up then leak all over the floor

Hallo

1:Check your door seals(damage door seals causes fridge to suck humidity into the fridge causing it to ice up to much and then the pan type humidifier at the back of the bottom of the fridge can evaporate the water fast enough causing an over flow).
2:If door seals aren't damage I would say at this moment its cold where you live and it would also cause high humidity and there for your thermostat should be set to min:2 and max:3 your choice and try to prevent opening the door to much or keeping it open for 2 long.
3:Ievel the fridge ensure that its level.
4:If the problem still occur let me know.

Whirlpool God 26cu ft French Door Refrigerator Model # GI6FDRXXY02 is leaking water on the kitchen floor. The water appears to be leaking in the front & water is leaking on both sides. Has anyone ha

There is usually a condensation pan at the bottom of a fridge. This can fill with water and over flow, causing what is happening. Also, the ice maker could be causing the problem because the water connections can leak at the back where they connect to the house water system.

Ds603 flood switch has been activated

The flood switch is at base of dishwasher housing under the drawer. Water leakage has occured to trigger this. Turn power off to dishwasher and take the power chord out. Pull the drawer out and use towels and hair dryer to dry the base. Put drawer back in and reconnect. Should work. Need to find the cause of leak. Either damaged lid seal or leaky hoses. Sometimes too much foam in detergent can cause it. Use recommended detergent and appropriate quantity per user manual.

Kenmore washing machine 2 year old is now flooding my floor every 20 loads happiend 4 times. Please help.

Is the water flooding coming from the top of the washing machine?
Check the drain pipe in the back to see that it's not loose. Also, look inside the drain pipe and make sure there is no algae. Algae might cause low flow through the drain pipe and it will overflow.

Hope this helps.

I have an Gallery series Fridgidaire side by side fridge, model number GLHS68EJSB0... the line to the water filter keeps freezing and unable to depense water... we have the setting on the fridge set to the...

We have the exact same problem. But ours is in a vacation home so we have to keep the water turned off all the time. It seems something in the ice line freezes when the fridge is empty. Then, no ice, no water. When we turn the water back on, after a few days of having food in the fridge, it seems to make everything melt and flood the tray then leak out onto the floor all day and night. The fridge temp goes down to 12 degrees when the fridge side is empty. It seems to stabilize when there are items inside. We put several gallons of water inside instead of leaving it empty and it helps with the temp but not with the leaking. We have had service come out several times and they just said, "don't leave it empty and turn off the water when you leave." What good is that? I don't have water or ice for the weekend when I go up to the house! OR I clean up floods the entire time!! Now it's out of warranty. Now that I see it happens to people in their main house, I would just say NEVER EVER EVER BUY FRIGIDAIRE AGAIN!

Could a fridge continue leaking even after water supply to house was shut off? My kitchen is flooded and I cannot determine if the fridge is the culprit. I do have an icemaker. Respond quickly please

The most the fridge will contribute is the quart or so of water contained in the lines. If the water has been turned off to the house and the valve to the refrigerator is closed, then that is about all the water that should come out of it.
If the water supply to the house is off, then open the valves to the tub or sink on lowest floor to relieve the pressure, then start looking for the water source.
If in a cold climate, look under the sink if it is on an outside wall

My refridgerator leaks water every two weeks

check to make sure the drain pan is in the right place. If it puddles up inside the bottom of the fridge first, your drain hole is plugged up. for this, you wil have to remove the access panel in the back of the freezer side to get to the drain hole. you may also have a crack in your drain pan.
